We came here for lunch after a disappointing experience at Ruby Slipper in Uptown. We drove to Slidell, really hungry, and decided to try a buffet and this place seemed perfect for us, it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is lively and fun, with lots of birthday celebrations going on. The best part is how everyone joins in and sings when the staff brings out the birthday banner. Such a great, cheerful vibe!

Tonight we walked in and as soon as we got our plates, we saw the most massive ROACH crawling across the floor right where the food was. Literally, it was the size of my hand. PLEASE GET PEST CONTROL! We will not be returning!

We have found our new favorite buffet. Great selection. I tend to stick with the basics as I'm not a big fan of seafood. The sushi is fresh and tasty. The food is always hot and fresh and full. They had a birthday party next to us and it was so cute.

The staff is so friendly and outgoing. My daughter wanted Chinese food for her birthday so we came here. We were so pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and food! They had a birthday sign that lit up and they played a song that everyone clapped along too. It was adorable! All of the food was hot and tasted great! We left happy and full!

Food could be better , little old . Same dishes offered. Drinks are horrible. Need to bring your own. Building and cleanliness are old and dirty and smell. Definitely need to remove all carpet and needs a fresh look. Music playing , is in good taste. Overall , I will not recommend .

I don't enjoy loud radio noise while I'm trying to relax and eat. I also don't appreciate sweeping around and under my table while I'm trying to eat. I was not comfortable as the loud radio was making it hard to enjoy conversation and totally ruined the atmosphere. I am in search of a better restaurant.

Food was not good. Potatoes weren't cooked all the way through, general tso was slimy, sushi was room temp, chicken(I guess) on a stick had no flavor at all, pepper chicken was okay. It was 64 dollars for 2 adults and a 12yo to "eat." None of us had enough to get full due to the quality of the food. Will not be back to try again.

Are they tasting these dishes before putting them out on the line? Golden Dragon, unfortunately, is but a shell of what it once was.
