This is one of my favorite hole-in-the-wall spots. Peter is one of the most down-to-earth people I’ve met, and his prices are always fair. They reflect market changes without gouging customers.
The food here is consistently good, but the sausages are what keep me coming back. They have the perfect texture: soft yet chewy with just the right amount of moisture. Whether I’m stopping by for crawfish, lunch specials, or just a quick snack, I’m never disappointed. This place is my go-to when cravings hit.

Wasn't crowded when I came around 1:35. The front girl was very nice and kind. She introduced me to the crawfish meat pie, which I ended up getting. I couldn't wait to try it. So good. Made the trip worth it. I'm only coming here for my crawfish meat pie now. Sold

It's a small hole in the wall mom and pops seafood owned place. I love keiths because the prices are the best in town and they always have what you need in stock or ready to go if you place an order. I've been able to get crawfish by the sacks when everywhere else on the Northshore or Southshore didn't have any. KEITHS DID. Their plate lunches are always a good go-to. They have very little parking and a small inside dining area, just FYI. They are great people here at this establishment. Any time I made reservations for anything, they were 100%. Came thru with it and on time!
If they had a larger building I would give the atmosphere a higher rating but being small and very little dinning room is a small fee to have when you would like to get you food and eat ASAP while its hot.

The food wasn't bad. I had fried rice and fried fish . The price and portion were great.
The young girl who took my order over the phone was so sweet and patient because i didn't know what to order. Service is great. I'll be back to try their boiled food it looked so great!

Keith’s you’ve got to stop mixing the old crawfish with the new fresh crawfish. Too many spoiled crawfish in the batch. A lot of ppl are complaining about it . Also the flavor hasn’t been consistent. The crawfish is constantly mixed and you can taste the difference

Keith’s count ur days ! $6.99 a lb. I bought 3lbs . A waste of my money for miniature overcooked crawfish. About a pound and a half of that was half cooked celery. Such a waste . If I wanted celery I would have ordered just that. Y’all have got to do better . Rouses and Winn Dixie are killing y’all with prices and they’ve improved their flavor . Highly disappointed

Closet spot to New Orleans flavored crawfish ! Seasoned ! With the right amount of spice !

I have come here for several years and love the food. However, today the owner displayed a level of disrespect toward customers I’ve never witnessed here, and I will NEVER be back.

⭐ 0/10 – “Because I Can Be” Isn’t Customer Service

If you’re looking for a seafood spot with mid-tier food, a hostile atmosphere, and a side of visible health code violations, Keith’s Seafood might just be your place. Unfortunately, I was hoping for something better than a plate of disappointment served with a generous helping of rudeness.

I asked the owner a simple question about how long my po’ boy would take. Instead of a straight answer, I got a condescending lecture: “You were sitting down, so you must not have heard me call it out.” Funny, because he was literally sitting behind me for 10+ minutes, scrolling on his phone—not exactly the picture of urgency or professionalism.

When I asked (calmly) why he was being so loud, he yelled back, “Because I can be.” Bold customer service strategy—if your goal is to make sure people never return.

The food? Meh. The kind of meal that makes you regret not just grabbing fast food. The atmosphere? Tense and uninviting. And the cherry on top? Several questionable sanitation issues that made me wonder how this place is still open.

All in all, Keith’s serves up the rare combo of subpar food and top-tier attitude. I walked in hungry and left with indigestion and secondhand embarrassment.

Do yourself a favor—skip the shrimp and the sass. There are better places that know how to treat people.

Keith’s was a very popular recommendation amongst locals in Slidell.

Not many vegan options, but the corn and potatoes were delicious

They really came through with their fried chicken drumettes. Needed 200 at the last minute and they took care of it with no problem.
