The food itself, especially the steaks, are excellent at this location. Unfortunately, the atmosphere and service at this location were very disappointing.
After being seated, our server passed our table three times without any greeting or acknowledgment. During that time, another couple was seated nearby and greeted almost immediately. I understand restaurants get busy, but basic courtesy goes a long way. A simple “Hello, I’ll be right with you” would have made a big difference.
By the time the server finally came to the table, we were already frustrated and ready to leave. When I explained my disappointment, the response felt more like an excuse than an apology, which only made the experience worse.
Because of this, I’m unlikely to return to this LongHorn location. I do hope management considers additional training focused on guest greetings and basic customer service, as the quality of the food deserves a much better front-of-house experience.

Always awesome food. The flo's filet never disappoints! All of the sides were great and so was the salad. They have a great selection even if you don't want steak. Ask for Paul. He was an amazing server! So friendly and kind!

If I could give a zero I most definitely would. I had the prime rib and it looked as if it was cooked in the microwave. Not to mention, I had to have someone go find my server for me when we needed something. Very disappointed especially with the prices of the food.

They Were Out Of The Main Appetizers & Sides We Wanted, But Those Chicken Bites & Mushrooms Were Really Good! Texas Tonions Were More Breading Than Onion. Our Steaks Were Either Over/Undercooked Or Over/Underseasoned. So That Was Disappointing. I Think The Appetizers & Salads Were The Star Of The Show That Night. We Were Pleased With The Service & How Management Accommodated Us For The Inconveniences. Overall I Give My Whole Experience A 6.5/10

My wife and I stopped at Texas Longhorn it was our first time there. She ordered a ribeye and when it came out it was way too salty!! We told our waitress named Summer and guess what happened. She asked if they could try again and cook her another one. My jaw nearly hit the table. Is this a waitress that cares?? Never would we have thought this could happen!!! Not even 10 minutes later my wife had a fresh steak to her liking!!! We will definitely be back!!! Summer was the best waitress we’ve ever had!!!

Celebrated my husband's 76th birthday with a steak lunch. The T-bone was juicy and cooked perfectly but was not hot and the baked potato was cold. The waitress brought another potato and it was barely warm. My husband would have enjoyed his meal more if it had been served hot.
After a very poor experience at another restaurant, we came here only to have our night do a full 180, Paul, our server, did a WONDERFUL job and the food was cooked very well.

We've been driving (1 hr) here for last several months to eat. The wing appetizer is soooo good. I take extra order home. Steak is delicious. Salmon dinner w/pilaf omg. Meatloaf & ribs all were delicious. Service had always been great.

On yesterday I went to Longhorn in Slidell Louisiana for my birthday upon arrival before being seated I told the waiter (Makayla M.) it was my birthday and asked will there be free desert and I also asked do they sing happy birthday. I finished my meal and paid but she still hadn't gotten my desert so I asked her for it and her response was I could no longer get it because I had paid for my food already in which I asked for a manager but she never called him/her. She goes to the back and came back with desert so I than asked when were they going to sing happy birthday and she replied by saying oh we are under staffed and are unable to sing to you. I set there and said okay I understand but a few moments later a white family comes in and immediately they sing happy birthday to them. This time I called for a manager and I was firm about seeing one and her words to me is she didn't know why I was told no for desert or why I was denied being sung to. She gave me a card for a free entree and free dessert but that does not fix the situation. We were clearly discriminated because of the color of my skin. Longhorn needs to do better.
