The pizza used to be perfect, but they must have gotten rid of their best pizza makers. The pizza was very greasy and overcooked. I let it slide thinking that this had never happened to me, but two more orders later, which was spreaded over two months. The pizza was still hard and greasy, so I never bought any since. Hope they got back on track. Good luck Marco's.

Ordered online at 6pm and requested the order be ready at 7:30pm. Had to wait in line at the store behind 4 DoorDash drivers for over 50 mins for my order. Ridiculous! This order was from the Marcos located on Gause Blvd., in SLIDELL, La. To throw salt in the wound, the cashier asked for a tip! Not happy at all with the way this was handled and we made numerous orders from this establishment on the past with no issues.

First, the food was really good, the people working were ok. The big issue is when you order in line for a pick up and you get the time to be there, things should work. First, the tal I'm here button so they can bring it the did, didn't work, so I went inside. ( That really didn't bother me too much, just wanted you to know). Now, the big issue is when you order in line and it tells you a time to be there and it will be ready, needs to be close to correct!! Not arrive on time then go inside and wait another 20 minutes before the food comes out. There were several other waiting as well. Now, the staff was busy and working hard, this is not this fault, it is the fault of the on line ordering system that needs reset to be closer to the flow of business at the time you order. This needs fixed very quickly to be a lot more accurate

Very poorly run location. Placed a takeout order online and estimate provided was 20 minutes. It took over 60 minutes for the pizza to be ready. Staff was unable to tell me where the order was in the queue or even provide a realistic estimate. Meanwhile their lobby filled with people in a similar predicament. The staff was completely unapologetic and couldn’t care less. Clearly there needs to be a better connection with online ordering and the actual wait time.

Completely wrong pizza on first order. At pick up for correct pizza, was told 10 minutes. After 40 minutes I asked about my order and they found my pizza just sitting on the counter cold. Really disappointed very disorganized group of workers. It's to bad because the pizza is really good.

The guys working were very friendly and they worked quickly. I walked in and ordered a sandwich and a salad and I was out in less than fifteen minutes. The Greek salad was fresh and tasty, but was a little small for what I paid. The Veggie sandwich was fantastic. A nice combination of veggies and cheese, it didn't matter that there wasn't any meat.2023 update - don't even try on a Thursday night. Every Thursday they are buried in orders and understaffed as well. Thus, the inevitable errors, delays, and screwups. They are nice and make things right in the end, but it gets old. Delivery takes hours and doing a pickup isn't much better. It hasn't driven me away, but if it's Thursday I'll go elsewhere. They aren't hurting for my business.

I went to Marco’s Pizza and placed a take out order. I was told there would be a 20 minute wait and after 40 minutes I asked where my order was. After getting the run around they admitted they dropped my order. I politely asked for a refund and a nasty older lady behind the counter told me I would have to wait even longer for the manager to give me a refund. The place wasn’t particularly busy but in a definite state of confusion. After wasting 5 more minutes of my time I finally got my refund without any apology. Worst experience ever.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Marco’s Pizza in Slidell since moving from California, drawn in by their truly amazing pizzas. The flavors and quality have always been top-notch, making it my go-to pizza spot.However, my recent experience with the general manager was disappointing. I had a previous issue where I was charged for an extra barbecue sauce that wasn’t included. When I brought this up, expecting a simple fix, the manager’s response was unexpectedly unaccommodating. Additionally, there was confusion over extra charges for a regular pizza deal, which only got addressed after I expressed my frustration.While the pizza quality remains excellent, this encounter with poor customer service has left a sour note. It’s a reminder that great food should be paired with great service, an area where Marco’s Pizza in Slidell currently falls short.
