Authentic Mexican restaurant, food has great flavor reminds me of my moms cooking. Reccomend this place if u are looking for real Mexican flavor.

The food was not good at all. Soup had no flavor. Seafood was not the best. The Coca Cola in the glass bottle even tasted bad. Waiter was super nice at first. We asked for numerous salsas to try and flavor the soup and after the second time we asked they seemed irritated.

Wonderful place. Went for a family dinner and everything was delicious. Wife had Azteca plate and was very happy with it. Guacamole was good and so was the green salsa. Kids loved their kids meals.

Kid-friendliness: Wait staff was very kind and interacted with with my kids as they tried to speak Spanish thru dinner.

Very nice waiting staff. First they do not offer queso and chips. This is a big part of ppl dining in a Mexican restaurant. Second the guacamole was like runny sauce. Customers want cool, fresh, flavorful guacamole. I just see this being another vacant space if they don't change some things. Also let me add there wasn't a soul in there on a Friday evening at 7:00pm. What does that tell you?

The food was great, I had the Burrito, and my wife had the cheese enchiladas better than any other Mexican restaurant in Slidell. Also, the civiche tostada is wow off that chart! This is a great spot. it's definitely a must try! We will be back!

I was looking for a different food experience for my wife and I and this restaurant caught my attention, because of its reviews and the menu. It sells itself as a different/better Mexican food experience. So I was excited to maybe find a new hidden gem in Slidell. When we arrived on a Saturday night at around 7pm, we were the ONLY ones in this large restaurant, that was the first red flag, but I thought maybe customers would start flowing in, since it is a relatively a new restaurant. I also thought maybe they did a lot of take out orders. So, we decided to stay and give it a try since we were already there. We were there until 8:20pm, and NO ONE else even entered the restaurant. (no to go orders)My wife ordered two tacos, one shrimp and one chicken. I order the grilled fish, which I was told was tilapia. We were serviced the traditional chips and salsa along with two waters. The water had a taste of chemical cleaner, like maybe they did not rinse off the cups after washing them.Once the food arrived everything went down hill. The presentation looked great, but that was the only good thing about the meal. My wife's shrimp and chicken were completely bland. They were not seasoned at all. We live in the south, we expect our food to be seasoned. The chicken was either old or over cooked, it was dry. My grilled fish was not filleted, it was butterflied and baked in the oven with the head and fins all still attached (eyes were removed). The fish had NO SEASONING and had so many bones that were so small I could not remove them all, so I barely ate any of the fish. The rice and re-fried beans, like my wife's dish was not seasoned at ALL. We had to add salt and peeper to make an attempt to eat it.PROS:1) Good atmosphere (except the lack of customers)2) Great Spanish music playing3) Good customer service (we were the only ones there)CONS:1) Bad location off the beaten path2) Food was HorribleOverall a BAD experience, this place has potential, but like every restaurant, it's success starts with good food, which in our opinion, this place DOES NOT HAVE.

While there are many styles of Mexican food in the Slidell area, I became familiar with Mexican food in San Diego. That is the style I missed and recently found right here! Very excited! Great food great staff!
