Can't believe this is associated with other McDonald's in Slidell. Management is unreal. I'm been inside and see how poorly the employees are treated. Wait times are generally long and consistently hear our frappe or ice cream machine is down. Trash cans are always overflowing. Use to be a great place to stop but now I have to go somewhere else.

Extremely long wait for low quality food, even when there is not a line inside or outside. Came for breakfast and ordered a couple of hashbrowns and sodas, that should never take 45+ minutes. Ordered through the app in hopes of getting taken care of quickly, only to be ignored in favor of drive thru. And even after waiting all that time, the hashbrowns were cold and soggy, and the drinks were completely watered down. On top of everything else, the staff is rude and practically throws your food and drink at you through the window. If you really want McDonalds, drive an extra few minutes to literally any other location.

Update 2025 they are still taking 10 minutes for hashbrowns and ask you to pull up while everybody gets their food and yours is sitting there getting COLD and then lie and say “it just came up” when I’m literally watching her give fresh food to others. Sick of this location

Some people charging $1 for a large water and ringing it up like a sweat tea *special request* doesn’t even make sense. Majority of the time I come here I get a free water so ringing it up as something else is suspicious af? If it was really a $1 why isn’t there a button for it?! Because y’all over charging folks then when I asked about it the girl taking my order wanna interrupt me and have an attitude telling me I can only bd eat a small water for free lmao when the other time somebody tried to charge me at this location they told me small and mediums are free. All the money McDonald’s makes and y’all trying to charge $1 for a cup of water? Sad as shit. Shoutout to those giving folks free large water as they should. Y’all got some sad ass employees.

please hire more people for the night shift. They are literally serving 1 customer/car at a time and having folks wait to take their orders????? Took 30 minutes to get 6 nuggets and a small fry

It’s a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is fresh and sometimes it’s not. Sometimes I have good, clear water and sometimes I do not (this was my “water” this morning.... why would you give somebody this 😂)

The worst experience I've had at any fast food location ever. 3 times the staff told me my simple order of 2 simple hamburgers and a cup of tea was almost ready. After 25 minutes without my order, I requested a refund and surprisingly received it. No apology, no future comp, nothing to indicate the business relies on customers. Wasted 30 minutes as staff focused on the drive up, swept the floor, left for breaks and rarely even acknowledged the small number of guests inside at 530pm.

The girl that was bagging the food for the customers inside the restaurant was more on her phone while the food that I was picking up as a DoorDash driver was sitting in front of her with a drink after five minutes of her being on the phone she put the food in the bag with the drink in the bag and hand it to me, DoorDash, or make their money based off of how quickly they can pick up the food and deliver the food to customers when restaurant employees Play around like this they cost us money. The drive-through line completely disappeared the whole 30 minutes that I waited for my order This is ridiculous and management needs to address their employees. This was a very simple one meal order. It was one drink one sandwich, one hash brown. There was no reason for it to take 30 minutes for me to get the order. I arrived at 9 AM and left at 9:32 AM.

Food is fine, and orders are generally correct. But there have been times where my wait has been sooooo long. Tonight, it was about 15 min from placing my order to receiving my food. While I was waiting at the window, I saw one guy mopping the floor. Of course cleanliness is important, but I did wonder if that was the best use of his time when several cars had started backing up. And, they were out of all sodas, so I had to get a refund on that portion of my app order.
