Incredible fried thin catfish!
Like the original on Lake Manshac better but both are awesome.
Large portions.

This place was amazing! They have the best paper thin catfish I have ever had! The service was perfect, I mean every step of service was hit and I have not 1 single complaint! I will be back.

Talk about quick service! We placed a ToGo order at the bar, and from the time we placed our order and received the food (all cooked fresh), it was less then 10 mins and we were out the door. The food catfish and gator bites were pretty good, and we would definitely visit when we travel back to town. This restaurant is also in a great location, right off the exit and it wasn't a lot of traffic in the area.

This is a wonderful place to eat. The food is great, service is incredible (ask for Laura, but they are all good), and the atmosphere is perfect. I'm a picky eater... always happy to go to Middendorf's.

Wonderful experience at any time. They are famous thin catfish is a must., but they have many options for any seafood lover. If you did a swamp tour nearby, easy to get to.

Good times, not bad food, the waitress was great ... but you have to chill tartar sauce and need to refrigerate most hot sauces. There was stuff growing!!

Good Oktoberfest meal. The dining room was slow but filled up completely by 6:30pm. There was an accordion player and the staff was in German Oktoberfest attire. They were very friendly and efficient. The place was extremely clean and lots of parking. I'll be back for the seafood.

Most of this food was pitiful The gumbo was broth with a little color added cooked down with some vegetables and then had some boiled shrimp thrown in it . Plus it was only warm . I had the stuffed flounder it was over cooked the fish was thin didn’t have much meat had a lot of stuffing to cover it up the fish was stuck to the bottom of the plate . I think it was supposed to be boiled red potatoes was pitiful like they had been sitting in water in refrigerator and heated up . I was really disappointed after eating at the one in manchac at times .Never eat at this one again . Plus on Friday night the place was empty it should have told me something. They need to take a good look at the one running the kitchen.

The first image is my leftovers the next day they were just as good as when I got it .The second image is called a little something bad it’s ice cream, sherbet, fruit, whipped cream and some kind of cinnamon stick. It was very delicious as well. This place is a little bit pricey, but good and the customer service was great.
The bayou pasta was good and the little bit on the spicy side.

Delicious food, either fried or grilled. One suggestion is that the vegetables side dish should come with brocoli. I missed that.
