All staff were courteous and friendly, even opening the doors for my Wife and myself (both of us are disabled and use walkers ). We got seated right away and our order taken. Thin fried catfish is still the king ! Hot, fresh and crispy ! Warm french bread with butter yummy .. hush puppies were not the best as they were hard to chew. Fries and slaw was good. Inside dining area is nice, roomy and clean ?. Definitely coming back to try the thick cut catfish ? ..if you leave here hungry, it's not their fault as portions are good !Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty room to park as well as move inside.

Crawfish cakes were only about as big as a silver dollar. You could eat them in one bite. There were only two per order for $10. Seafood Platter- shrimp and oysters were tiny and the stuffed crab was dry and hard... all bread crumbs and no crab to speak of. So disappointed. Used to brag about this place. Hope the Manchac location is still good.

The food here is so lacking! The owner is apparently a well known chef and I don't get it?? Where is the flavor? I literally only come here for the great service and the fact that the bartenders are amazing. Last time I came, a literal roach crawled out from between my serving plates. Would not recommend. Go down to Phil's Marina for good seafood. You can stop here for booze, though.Also, the amount of money for the plates? I spent so much more here on mid food than I did at another restaurant down the street for amazing food. I don't know where the taste buds of these people giving five stars are, but im concerned and want to recommend them to my physician.

My first bad experience here. Normally, the food is excellent. I ordered a shrimp on bun with fries and the shrimp were puny, over fried, hard and dried out...the fries were also dry. I have to now reconsider if I want to spend almost a 2 hour round trip drive time and half a tank of gas to come back again or maybe just look for a better seafood restaurant.
