Nathan's Restaurant

I was looking for a restaurant to take Girlfriend for our one year anniversary. I looked at several restaurants in the slidell area but settled on Nathan's. Every aspect of the experience was top notch. We had Nathan as our server and he did a phenomenal job as he was very attentive and made the experience perfect. The food was amazing! We got the crab au gratin for starters and it was loaded with lump crab meat and tasted amazing. Our entrees were simply amazing as well! Coming from some one who has over 20 years experience in the service industry, i can confidently say, Dont sleep on this gem of a dining experience.

We just ate lunch in the bar at Nathan’s. It was our first visit, and we weren’t disappointed. The burger was just fabulous. I loved the Caesar salad. It was exceptionally fresh tasting. Cocktails were good-sized, perfectly made, and reasonably priced. The crème brûlée was the best ever. Service and atmosphere were perfect. Thank you!

We called at 6:40 on September 6 from the parking lot to see how long the wait was for a party of two, and the employee stated they were booked. I asked if she meant that nobody could go in to wait to be seated, and she said correct. We checked open table and there were reservations available for 8pm and later.

An abundance of incredible delicious food. The staff was friendly and professional. Atmosphere was great, can wear business casual or casual. Price for dinner was GREAT!

There should be a ten star category for the fabulous food and dining experience at NATHANS. I have never been disappointed and I dine there frequently for both lunch and dinner. Everything is fresh from the kitchen and ptepared with love. Owners Ross and Gina Eirich have created a warm and friendly environment and you are guaranteed to run into old friends there. NATHAN'S is definately my all time favorite.

Nathan’s Restaurant, located on beautiful Bayou Bonfouca, serves up classic Louisiana Creole dishes with serious flavor. Executive Chef Ross Eirich brings out the best in everything—from the Seafood Eggplant Napoleon to the Trout Amandine, Smoked Oysters, and a perfectly cooked Filet. And don’t sleep on the Nathan’s Burger—it's fantastic. The service is always top-notch, and the atmosphere feels just right for anything from a corporate lunch, a date night or dinner with friends. A true gem on the Northshore!

Update! 6/25 Years in. I don't even want to spill the beans here. Best steak in Louisiana? Yes. The filet au gratin is sinful. Posting pictures. Best restaurant in St Tammany Parish by far. Shhhhh. Don't tell everyone!

Good happy hour! The bar is small but great. We did Valentines dinner once too. Very good food! Their lunch menu is really awesome. The lasagna was so very yummy. They have a few good choices for draft beer too. Crab meat au gratin is a fabulous! Update.... Still totally amazing. The ribeye might be in the top three of all time ever (7/19/24) and my pecan snapper was sweet deliciousness! Update! 10/24/24 Filet au Gratin fantastic!

Matt was our server ..very unproffessnal ..hands on hips with hurry up attitude ..He never told us special ( if its a requirement for server ,) never offered desert..when we'd let him know 🥰 food was great tho !!

Great first experience! Lisa was helpful and attentive. Burger melted in your mouth.
Blackened tuna & sweet potato hash was also delicious. We will definitely visit Nathan 's again when we're in Slidell.

We dined at Nathan’s for Mother’s Day. It was absolutely wonderful! They took care of 13 of us with zero issues. We ordered a variety of appetizers and desserts and they were all delicious - especially the Brussel Sprout and the Praline Bread Pudding. All filets were cooked to perfection. I tried the duck for the first time ever and I am so glad I did. It was sooo good and the glaze brought it to another level. The dirty rice was the perfect pairing to go with it. I thought I’d regret not ordering the filet but nope, not in the least. Overall, it’s a place for everyone for all occasions as the menu has a varied selection and the service and atmosphere are outstanding. Can’t wait to back!!
