I had roast beef poboy with fries and side of seafood gumbo. It was delicious. My only problem was no seafood in the gumbo. Poboy was on point! Nice hot fries as well!

We waited an hour for our food, but some of it wasn't cooked all the way. The staff tried hard to compensate, but it must have just been a bad night. The rest of the food was good and they were very accommodating for a large group.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were cruising out of New Orleans and wanted somewhere that felt comfy, welcoming, and authentically new to us—and this place absolutely delivered. The menu had such a great variety of Louisiana cuisine, which made it perfect for trying a little bit of everything.
What made it even better was the atmosphere. Our table neighbors ended up being part of the cook’s (or owner’s) family, and it was genuinely the sweetest thing—watching a mom and her sons enjoy their meal while their dad came over in his apron to check on them and give them a quick kiss on the head. It felt so homey and real.
Amazing food, welcoming vibes, and such a special experience overall. 10/10—would absolutely come back.

Went here the other night, The service over all was average. All the food was great, and their Jacked Up Fried Pickles were the perfect balance of flavor and salt. A somewhat generic but still welcoming atmosphere, not bad but not stand out either.
Over all a good generic restaurant experience. Happy Hour pricing definitely makes success worth it for the amount of food too.

My first time visiting Nola Southern Grill. It was fantastic! We had a shrimp platter. Shrimp tacos, and the zydeco Shrimp. The food was fresh hot and so tasty. I highly recommend the Zydeco Shrimp! Our server was so sweet and on top of things!
Disgusting! Ordered fried mushrooms appetizer, some of the mushrooms were rotten. Tasted fishy and looked slimy. But, I let it slide. Then came the fried chicken Alfredo. The Alfredo was half oily water and half spoiled milk? It looked like someone blended cottage cheese with oil and water. It was gritty and gross. The flavor was sour. The chicken was not fried, it was maybe pan fried and shaped like a handgun. It was so gross. I tried to get the waiters attention but was ignored. I brought the food up and asked for a manager. Of course, no manager available. The waiters tried to say everything was made fresh. What a joke. He should have never served that plate. It was obvious that something was wrong. He removed the plate before I could take a picture. This place was not good a few years ago. I tried to give a second chance but it's just as bad. Never again. I paid for my drinks and rotten mushrooms and left. Hopefully it don't get sick from eating here. What a shame.

Amazing Foods and Staff .. The Young Lady that assisted us was super helpful.. Foods were outstanding.. Try the Couchon DE Lait sandwich.. WOW.. Also that gravy with the fries.. Heck with ketchup.. GIVE MEEEE THAT GRAVY ANY DAY.. Thank You So Much 😃 😋 😊

First time eating here (10/25/2025) and it was absolutely amazing. My stepdaughter and I had Gator bites for the first time... it really does taste like chicken lol. Our server, Stephanie, was just the absolute best. She was kind, quick, and very informative about things to do around the area or where to visit the next time we come. The manager on duty was also amazing. He gave my stepdaughter one of their shirts and it really just made her day so much better 😁. The people, the atmosphere, the food... all of it was wonderful. Highly recommend eating here!
