⭐ Olde Towne Pizza Co. – Slidell, LA
22/10 — Operational Excellence, Frontline Champions, Zero Notes
Shelbi and Sophi aren’t just working the front line — they’re running point on customer experience like seasoned operators. These two young professionals welcomed me into Olde Towne Pizza Company with genuine hospitality, no corporate script, no forced smiles — just real service. And that’s rare in this market.
The environment?
Clean to the point you could conduct surgery on the floor. Not “restaurant clean.” Sterile clean. The kind of clean that signals leadership takes pride in the operation from the inside out.
The décor blends antique character with a modern, high-touch finish. It’s warm, intentional, and surprisingly upscale for a neighborhood pizza shop. Even the vending machines — robot claw units — add a playful but polished touch. Someone here understands atmosphere.
Now the product mix:
• Premium Coca-Cola lineup
• Cappuccinos
• Red Bull
• Broad beer selection
• Full liquor availability
The beverage matrix alone would make most bars in the parish step up their game.
The pizza itself?
Straightforward: some of the best this side of the lake. Quality ingredients, balanced profiles, no shortcuts. They’re not faking it. They’re executing.
Shelbi and Sophi close the loop: warm, fast, attentive, and locked-in on creating a strong customer-service ROI. These two elevate the brand.
Final Call:
⭐ 22 out of 10 stars.
High-performance service culture.
Zero operational red flags.
Strong recommendation for return visits.
Olde Towne Pizza Co. isn’t just doing business — they’re running a tight ship with heart.

Whole restaurant was freezing from the front door being left wide open the entire experience, food was badly burned, and the specials weren't explained to us before ordering so we wound up spending almost double what we expected as well as a Federally illegal 3% charge on my debit card. However, the host was very nice, our waitress was very attentive, and the manager did what she could to help us out. All in all, good staff but awful food and prices.

We try to support local, but with this place it’s getting hard. A bunch of teenagers that work in there that don’t really care about their jobs and it shows. $40 for a pepperoni pizza that had hardly any pepperoni or cheese on it and mozzarella logs, at least those were good. Save yourself the heartache and go to Camellia city pizza.

I recently had this pizza at an event and really enjoyed it, which is why I decided to place an order over the phone. It was raining heavily, but I still made the trip to pick it up. After driving around several times to find parking, I finally went inside. The lady at the counter told me, “One moment, please,” so I waited patiently, understanding that they were busy.
However, several people who came in after me were helped before I was, even though my pizza was already ready for pickup. I continued to wait, but after being overlooked multiple times, I decided to just leave. I never received my order.
Good customer service goes a long way — acknowledgment and respect for every customer matter, especially when someone has already paid or taken the time to call ahead. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing enough that I will not be returning.

Decent pizza bit their Wednesday deal is good and the ppl are nice
Service is slow. Our food came out at different times so half our party was done eating before others even got their food. When our food was served we had to wait for the waitress to return to ask for silverware so we could actually eat our food.

Right in the heart of old town Slidell. Just stopped in for lunch. We had the fried zucchini sticks which were excellent. The batter was light, cooked to perfection and you could really taste the veg. We had the supreme pizza and it was good. Huge pizza. Flat fresh bread. Not enough toppings for me but still really good. They have flavored teas that are delicious. Overall liked the place. Would go again

Sat for over an hour before we asked about our appetizer we were told I'm sure it's coming soon. Table next to us came in after and got their food. Got the app. no utensils so we got up and asked for those. Told we will bring you some. Then cleaned a table next to us while we still had no utensils. Food maybe good but we have no idea.
We recently tried this spot and had a mixed experience. We ordered the Wing Feast (24 wings with 6 flavors), but while the wings themselves were tasty, we only received what seemed like 3 flavors and unfortunately, none of them were labeled. That made it impossible to know which ones we liked or would want to reorder.
The garlic knots and marinara sauce were excellent, and the two slices of four-cheese pizza were also a standout. However, the Margherita pizza looked a little rushed—like they may have run low on ingredients and it was supposed to be half cheese, but that wasn’t obvious at all from the way it came out.
The chicken Alfredo was a miss, it was bland and watery, and we had to add our own seasoning at home just to make it enjoyable. Overall, there are some strong menu items here, but attention to detail and consistency in preparation would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.

We had this doordash to our Campground so we never saw the restaurant. Driver arrives 22 minutes after I ordered it and the food had not been started. They told the driver that it was some weird mistake. Driver waited another 20 minutes and then headed our way. It was okay pizza but nothing unique or special.

I placed an order for pick up and spent about $70 on 3 apps and 2 chicken parm
Sandwiches. I’d give zero stars if I could. Nothing had any taste or flavor. It was awful. The worst food I’ve ever ordered at a pizza place. I asked for hot peppers on the sandwiches and got green bell peppers.
You’re in the wrong business if you don’t know the difference.
