Atmosphere is nice but food is way overpriced, especially for the buffets! Food was cold and just not worth it. Tables were crammed in the outdoor space leaving very little room to get in and out to go get your food from the buffet. Hadn’t been in 10-12yrs and don’t feel the need to go back

The brie appetizer was so good. The outdoor seating overlooking the bayou was amazing! All the food was awesome. We will definitely be back to eat there and want to try the BBQ place right next door.

There were a number of large tables and we were one of them. The server did a great job, but the kitchen seemed to be having a problem keeping up. A couple of items ran out (that happens) but the kitchen did not advise until preparation began about a half hour later (that shouldn't happen). Front of house staff made satisfactory adjustments. Most important-the food was excellent in every way! So, not our best experience there, but the food trumps the negatives. One of our favorite places to dine.

Terrific experience on Easter Sunday. Buffet was replenished frequently, food was warm, and there was plenty to choose from. Our lunch was not rushed and atmosphere with live music was pleasant. Highly recommend.

I now love this local restaurant. And they just added an outdoor BBQ, which is fab! We always get the same thing, pork belly appetizer, fish almandine and wedge salad when they have it usually add fried oysters to that. Their cocktail list is great, lots of originals. Nice size too. Wine list is also good and priced well. My son loves their bread pudding!

Went for dinner last night and the new menu is absolutely decadent. I woke up this morning craving to go back. I highly recommend checking this place out. It is such a gem!

Always love going to Palmetto's. The food is always great, service is wonderful, ambience is so nice. Love it. One of the nicer restaurants in Slidell.

Extremely disappointed. Sunday is buffet only, cannot order from menu. Half of the buffet is breakfast. Food was cold and certainly not worth 36.95 per person. I can only imagine the menu items would not be much better.
