It’s good, I like it. It’s like a subway for pizza. And it’s decently priced. The pizzas are the perfect size for a personal pan but can be shared with 2 people. It’s always clean in there. And the wait is never long. Takes maybe 5 or 10 minutes to get my pizza. The staff is nice too. It’s a good place to go if you want a quick bite to eat and don’t want to wait forever for a pizza.
We went in right as they were closing (did not realize they were closing) and they gladly helped us. We drive from New Orleans as often as we can to come here. The pizza is always fresh and delicious! The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful.
I gave them one more shot and I have to revise my previous post. The pizza was perfectly cooked with tons of toppings. It was obvious the person making my pizzas cared about customer service. Pizza Platoon is probably the top pizza shop in Slidell. If you're visiting, you don't want to miss this gem.
