Purchased their crab claws today from Quality Seafood retail in Biloxi. These crab claws were big and clean. I marinated them in Italian dressing and they were delicious. I live in Covington. Do you sell direct to the public?

These people are terrific. If you call with questions they are very pleasant and helpful. If you are a trucker and you are going to this facility, be careful going down their road. It's very narrow. The two guys there were kind enough to help spot me into their "docking" area. I blindside-backed into it. They load you from the forklift area. Swing wide when you leave.

I've been getting live crabs here for some time. Friendly service. Blue crab is Gr8! Order them live and cook em up yourself. I always pick up at store never shipped, except when I'm in MD off season, then I enjoy fresh steamed LA BLUE CRAB in the winter!

Deceitful labelling. I am now aware that there is a line of US crabmeat as well as Mexican crabmeat (see the very fine print on the package). I unwittingly bought the imported version which was of poor quality and taste. It should not be legal to sell imported crabmeat with the label "Pontchartrain Blues." Incredibly misleading, will never be a customer again. I suggest you do the same.

I had to write a review because of all of the bad ones. We live in Denver, CO, and love blue crab. We've ordered from this place four times over the past four years. We had one experience that was not perfect, but they handled it very well and resolved the issue. The other three orders were perfect. We ordered 50 lbs of live blue crab and while there was some loss (let's face it, crabs don't live well on airplanes) there were a lot of wonderful, live, fresh, and tasty crabs.

These guys took care of me at the last minute. I had a party scheduled in Arizona and my MD dealer fell through at the last minute. I got hold of Elliott and he sent out one of the nicest boxes of #1 Jimmy's I've seen in a long time. Thanks guys. Looking forward to doing business with you again.

Don't send advanced money to them, Gary Bauer the owner is not honest person because he will keep the money and will not deliver anything to you, still own us USD 8,000 for years!! Horrible experience to do business with them!!

We used to order our live crabs from Maryland (way over priced and empty most of the time) but we just finished our 2nd order and it was awesome!! we ordered 40 pounds of live crabs half #1 males and half females and again they were huge full crabs and very feisty we were so happy after being disappointed so many times before. our first order a couple weeks ago was the same big full tasty crabs. the staff was awesome and fun to talk to had a wonderful experience, will from now on always order from Pontchartrain Blue Crab the shipping is expensive(but that's on FedEx) but well worth it to have these great crabs. cant Waite to order females in December!!!!!!
