We had a wonderful meal at Que Rico! Cuban Cafe. Between the Lechon Tamale, to the Ropa vieja, to the chiccaron de pollo, what a fantastic meal! We had great attentive service too!
I don’t normally eat steak but I tried it because it’s thinly sliced. I’m so happy I did. I was ecstatic with the first bite! The flavor profile was exceptional. The chimichurri rice and black beans were also well seasoned. The margaritas in my flight were made to perfection! Everything was delicious!

No joke, thee best hole in the wall restaurant in Slidell. Food is as good as it gets when it comes to authentic Cuban cuisine, the Atmosphere is fresh and lively, and some of the servers are from Cuba and bring their unique style with them!

We had an incredible experience at this Cuban restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere and vibe were absolutely perfect — lively, welcoming, and full of authentic charm. The drinks were spot-on, and every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. What really made the night even better was the staff and manager — they were beyond friendly, super accommodating, and made us feel right at home. I can’t recommend this place enough! We moved here in September and never knew about this amazing Cuban restaurant. I got to enjoy a mojito flight with four different flavors and an appetizer sampler. Of course, I forgot to take pictures of the yummy sandwiches. The food is delish! I took a slice of tres leches home with me! For local people, if you don’t know about this place, it’s definitely a worthy visit. We will absolutely be back soon. The people there are friendly and amazing! I also love their decor! ❤️
