This is not your ordinary coffee shop - the plants, the coffee, the ambience, even clothes to buy - it's like what is going on here - nothing but goodness is what. I love this place and though I live 40 minutes away, when I have to be in Slidell, you best believe I'm stopping in at Roots Plants + Coffee Old Town. 💯
The atmosphere is charming and peaceful ~ think mismatched furniture, soft music, and the kind of lighting that makes everything feel a little more magical. It’s the perfect spot to read, work, or just enjoy a moment of calm.
My wife and I travel to the area a few times a year to visit family and have always struggled to find a good coffee shop in the past. Roots is a God send. Undeniably the best spot around, no competition. Great combinations of flavors done extremely well. Enjoy a sweet drink? They got you covered. Looking for something coffee forward?
