What a great little down home restaurant. Everytime we are in town for the end of winter and heading into spring we love enjoying breakfast here. There may be a wait but I'll tell you it's well worth it. I don't believe there's a bad thing on the menu. The wife usually gets a shrimp omelet with alligator sausage and is in love. The sausage gravy is always the best and the home fries are always great. The waitresses are always checking in on you from the time you sit down and the prices are not to bad either. Just a great little place to enjoy even better food.

The bacon cheeseburger y'all........ words cannot express how amazing this burger was. The double is a very good sized burger. I'm 6' 4 and 245 lbs and I could barely eat it. You have to try it to believe the words you're reading right now. An absolute GEM in the city of Slidell. Bring your appetite with ya!!!

Came in tonight to try the place I'm always passing up. I was greeted by Maya. She was very sweet and told me to sit where ever I'd like. When i asked what was good she showed me the specials and said everything here was homemade. I ordered the Country fried steak meal and it came out pretty quick. The soup I ordered was wonderful. When the rest of the food came out it was a plate full. I could barely finish it all. I will most definately be coming back. First impressions have been a good one for me.

Didn’t have anything fried at 630pm dinner time then finally offered me country fried steak after bein told no took an hour for two club sandwich’s granted we added. A extra one on then waitress wasn’t to nice and not attentive after askin where our sandwich’s were she placed the extra order after other order was placed he started makein other people’s order before he fixed the second sandwich… fries tasted like old grease .. ate there months ago food was good tonite food was terrible won’t be goin back
