I ordered the French Toast and Bacon. Cooked to perfection! The coffee was good and the waitress was nice. The only complaint I had was she didn't check back in on us after she brought our food. However it wasn't hard to get her attention. Very small place, but clean. A few tables available on the front porch.

They smoke cigarettes in the kitchen and make you leave, couldn’t even enjoy eating my food cause they apparently have a small time limit on the tables… also the waitress was horrible bad attitude and I’ll never eat here again… not after seeing the ashtray in the food prep area… and when I mentioned the smell of cigarettes in the dining room the owner said I don’t have to eat here I can leave… horrible experience

This restaurant came up first when I did a Google search to find the best breakfast burrito in Slidell, La. I ended up getting the breakfast enchilada with a side of green chili. It was very good. The pancakes, sausage and eggs were excellent too. Service was good. Ate on the patio which was too close to the street. Seating inside is limited and the tables are close as it is a very small dining room in an older building. Not much ambiance. My rating is for the food and service, not the vibe.

I stopped in with my Husband for the first time today and it was quite tasty! It was affordable with huge portions and good service. The cook messed up order, but our waitress took care of it right away and they expedited our food. It's a quaint and classic little hole-in-the-wall cafe with limited seating, but it's worth the small wait! Our server was kind and helpful. I got the Scramble Hash and my Husband got the Meat Lover's Omelette. We had full bellies when we left and plenty of leftovers to bring home. We plan to visit when we're in town next!

Country fried steak with white gravy & mashed potatoes is one of my all-time favorite meals & today I went to S&H GOOD EATS on 190W to try theirs! It was absolutely delicious! It also came with soup or salad, so I chose the (delicious!) stuffed pepper soup If you like good home cooking with good portions, good prices, and good service and you haven’t tried S&H GOOD EATS on 190W go check them out-you’ll be glad you did! This place is just incredible! I'm just so sad that I live so far away and I can't come here everyday. We had the pork chops with rice and gravy, potato salad, and bread and hamburger steak with homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread, and stuffed pepper soup. All of it was incredible, all of it is homemade, there is nothing that's pre-made, and the portions are larger than you would expect. We both had enough to take home for another meal, honestly. I cannot wait to get back to this side to try out the breakfast. The little dining area is adorable and you feel like you're in Mawmaw's dining room or kitchen. We'll be back as often as possible! Also, the waitress was just the best! I think her name was Kayda or Kayla.
