I've had many good meals here but today I was very disappointed by their Shepherd's Pie. Instead of ground meat and mixed vegetables it had a very thin layer of roast beef and only a little corn, with no other vegetables, topped by a thick layer of mashed potatoes. I had takeout but if I had eaten in I would have sent it back and ordered something else.
I ordered the French Toast and Bacon. Cooked to perfection! The coffee was good and the waitress was nice. The only complaint I had was she didn't check back in on us after
she brought our food. However it wasn't hard to get her attention. Very small place, but clean. A few tables available on the front porch.

If you really want a homestyle meal this is the place to come to. This is twice for us in the last 3 days that we've been here. It's not a gorgeous place but it's a great place!!
