This Hampton Inn property is older yet a nice place to stay. Upgrades have been made to keep the room fresh. Convenient location near interstate. Friendly and helpful staff like Steve, Nicole, Justin, Emily, and Doris. Ample cleaning staff every day for rooms and entry ways. Doris kept the breakfast area spotless, and the food was fresh. She was especially helpful. It was like seeing a good friend each morning. Pillows and beds provided a good night sleep. Quiet rooms.

My first choice of hotels when I travel is Hampton Inn. This Hampton Inn was really nice. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. What stands out at this particular Hampton Inn are the employees. I was greeted each day by the person at the front desk, as well as the lady preparing breakfast, and also any maintenance staff. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel was amazing. Check in was easy and all staff were were friendly. Room had everything we needed and a comfortable bed. Free breakfast was excellent. Front desk had a “Happy Bag” for us with bottled water, fruit and a bagel. Later in the day they had fresh baked cookies. Every time I went to lobby someone was cleaning even wiping down the walls and light fixtures

Positives, the staff was extremely friendly. Typical Hampton Inn breakfast. Common areas were clean. Hotel is set back a bit and appeared to be a popular stop for truckers, lots of big rigs in the lot. The mattresses have seen there day, very thin, you could feel the springs. Booked a room with a roll in shower as my daughter just had knee surgery and it would be easier to navigate. However the way the shower curtain is the floor gets soaked and becomes extremely slippery. Cleanliness of the room was questionable, there was a used bar of soap on the shower floor. Was ok for 1 night but would not stay there again.

We were headed to New Orleans for a cruise and decided to stay on this side of the river to be close the next day. We usually stay in Meridian and we wanted to be even closer for an ealier arrival to port. We found this Hampton by doing some research online. We are so thrilled that we did. We had a wonderful stay from the booking to the checking out after breakfast. Everything smelled very clean, looked very clean and felt very clean. We were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the the breakfast crew as well. Everyone was ready to help with questions we had and ready with information for the surrounding area. Our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. We will be stopping here again should we sail out of New Orleans.

Visited Slidell, La recently. Came into town for the Final Four in New Orleans. Rooms were cheaper in Slidell so we decided to stay there. We also had a family friend who recommended the Hampton Inn. When we arrived we were greeted and checked in by Katie. Such a friendly smile and welcoming personality. During our stay we also had the pleasure of enter acting with James. He offered food recommendations and we checked out Keith’s Seafood. We brought back some boiled crawfish and ate them in the lobby. James came over and visited and socialized with our group and we had some great fellowship. I would recommend staying at the Hampton inn in Slidell, LA. My next stay we will definitely be back.

Roaches were found in the room. Disgusting. Overall everything else in the room was fine but the thought of a roach crawling over my personal belongings is sickening. We had to keep everything in our suitcases and in the refrigerator. Living with roaches is not normal or acceptable. I would NOT go back to this establishment

Beds were very comfortable and the hotel was clean The complimentary breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Most importantly, the staff was helpful and friendly. Thanks Rose and Doris!! While you’re there, go for dinner at the Southside Cafe. Casual and excellent food.

We normally stay at this Hampton when we travel to New Orleans. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Great sense of humor. The restaurant across the parking lot is great for drinks. Karaoke is on the weekends. The location is perfect to hop on and off the interstate. Breakfast was very nice. And as always, the coffee is great.

Kara was on her A game tonight while assisting my husband and I with our reservation. Kara was quick to check us in, get our keys and assist with local phone numbers for food delivery. I was so hungry, I could have eaten dirt ? Kara’s attention to detail was top notch. We appreciated her professionalism and her willingness to assist guests. We are thru this was frequently, and will definitely be staying here again. Thx Kara❤️
Upon my arrival, the remodeling of the building was absolutely eye striking, upon my entry, Katie greeted me with a smile, great conversation and great info on area restaurants, the room was very clean, updated and peaceful! The entire hotel is nothing less than spotless and the entire staff seems and showed to be very nice and friendly.
