Great atmosphere -- friendly - Louisiana -- fun. I ordered the Pontchartrain Pig sandwich -- Louisiana wrapped into a sandwich. Yummy. I liked the way they crisped the bun/meat/melted cheese and then put the cold slaw inside. Really made for a unique taste sensation. There is so much on the menu, I'll be hard pressed to choose something else.

Was in Louisiana for 4 days...ate here twice (and to be honest, thought about it my whole time there). The food is fabulous! Especially the chicken and sausage gumbo and the Buffalo Shrimp. My next trip to Louisiana will have me heading to Southside Cafe again!

10/10 Recommend! I’ve been going here since I was a baby and this always will be my go-to spot for family and friends. The portions are plenty enough for more than one person, and the staff is very helpful and kind.

The food was Disgusting!!! I had the black and blue Poboy it was sour spoiled meat or dressing don’t know🤢🤮The burgers were frozen burgers, that were cooked and were dry hard, and 2 people wondered if it was even beef at all! Will never ever go back!
What a great place! This is a fantastic bar and restaurant. Great selection and service. I'm an old Marine and the Jarhead memorabilia made me feel like home. This is a must try.
