First of all, the food is very good.
For the past 17 years my family has thought of Italian Pie as a “go to” favorite.
The past six months has seen a decline in service to the point we were tipped over the edge to cut the place from our list.
We sat and the server seemed put off.
We never once got a drink refill.
Enough is enough.

I just (2pm Tuesday) stood by the counter for 10 minutes waiting to place order and not one person asked me if I was being helped until I started to walk out. Only 2 tables were being served. Maybe next time.

Italian Pie is one of my favorite restaurants in Slidell. I love the fact their wings are baked, not fried! They also have a great selection of alternative types of pizzas. The French onion soup will not disappoint you. Head over and see for yourself.

The Staff was very professional and friendly, didn't have to wait a long time for our food the seafood Lasagna was out if this World and the Ceasars salad was to die for. A great job well done.

The pizza I ordered for delivery was awful. I asked for a large Italian sausage and mushroom pizza. Thinking it would be as beautiful and delicious as they come out in the restaurant. I was sure it would be better than any of the other chain pizza places in town. NOT SO! The pizza was barren of sauce and maybe an ounce of sausage. Mushrooms were almost whole, not nicely sliced as would be appropriate for a pizza. I ate 2 slices and gave the rest of it away. For $25, this was a huge waste of money. Will not try this again.

we eat there 5 to 6 times a month but this time was horrible we split a lazina the noodles were overcooked and hard my wife got French onion soup and the onions looked like banana pealing and were nasty

Generally we order takeout but decided to go have a nice family dinner there. Love the dim lighting and everyone was nice. The pizza is always hot and fresh and generally loaded with toppings. Usually when we order takeout I'm flying home because it looks so delicious when it comes right out of the oven. Being we ate in able to eat it right out of the over was wonderful. I also had the French onion soup which was delicious as well. Favorite pizza spot in the Dell.

We had the Italian Pie large pizza,subbed roasted eggplant for the peppers,it was very good. We had the regular crust,very tasty.
I wasn't able to use my discount for St. Tammany SB Teachers today. The Manager said she has worked their for 3 years and they never have offered a discount. My question, why are they listed on the school website under the Star Program. I'll have to ask the school, but kuddos to the Salad Station a local business that supports their local community.

Lettuce on sandwiches was past it's point of being edible and the breadsticks are hilariously burnt and have pesto spilled on them and in the box. None of our to go order has a pesto item. Y'all please just do better.
