Hidden, locally owned gem in Old Town Slidell. Fantastic menu.Favorite filet mignon in town, slightly peppered and seared! Loved the blackened chicken alfredo, fabulous crab cakes, and trout almondine. The salmon crustini is perfection. Upscale relaxed atmosphere. Sure to please wine selection.

Good experience with staff and a great atmosphere. We won't count this place out over the less than exciting charcuterie board.

Had dinner last night with friends and the food was amazing and the atmosphere was the best part. Autumn our waitress was great and took great care of us.

The name of the establishment is deceiving. No real "list"- just 1 or 2 options of each type with no info on where it's from. (probably because it's all cheap) They have more cocktail options. The food is not well seasoned but the app and dessert were good- the fish may have been frozen and the green beans seemed canned. Overall it wasn't bad, which is why I'm not giving a lower review, it just appears they cut many corners so there is no way I'd call it 5 star food. When we were served dessert we asked about desserts wines, we were told they don't have any, and the owner told the server to recommended a Moscato ? we asked to talk to him but he never came to the table, even though he walked through the dining room many times. Everything was clean, even if the decor was a hodge podge of styles. Overall, not worth the month spent, I would highly recommend to them to pay for some consulting on their wine list.

I was there for a private party. The food was very good and the ambience was delightful. However, the service was spotty. There was a cash bar but the bartender stay in the area and many folks thought the bar was open. The organization sponsoring the party had to cover the overage in alcohol. That was very unfortunate and not really their fault. So, if you're going to hold a party there be sure to make it clear what you need from the staff.

Have been many times. Heard they had a new chef and wanted to get something new. Ordered the fillet special and the stuffed double pork chop.. only one hostess, bartender, waitress made service a bit slow. Had to ask for refills on the water, it was a hot day and we were thirsty. Dinner took so long we finished both glasses of wine. Finally it was brought out by the manager. Steak was good but needed more seasoning. Porkchop had a wonderful glaze probably from a small torch. However, the meat was cooked to the point where it had no juice and was a bit tough. Pork is safe at 145, this was closer to 160 and well done. Strongly suggest cooking it to a lower temp that is still safe, but much more enjoyable

I would say the wine part is the weakest. Other than that the food is good and the prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly too and the location (we sat outside) is charming.

Very pricey and the food isn't good, shrimp tacos with no flavor at all!Doesn't have variety of wine something we were expecting because of the place name!

This was a bad experience. I"ll keep it as brief as possible. It won't be easy.I'll open with this. We were a table of six who spent a great deal of money here with appetizers, bar drinks, bottles of wine and expensive entrees. We were offered NOTHING in the way of amends for this terrible treatment.Let's begin.Shoulder shrugging and using the words "I don't know" when it came to incomplete dishes that should not have been served. Excuses galore with regard to kitchen staff. I have zero interest in this and staffing problems should NEVER be discussed with the clientele without a willingness to make amends. It's trashy and cheap. If you know you'll be providing a substandard product, show some grace and offer something to improve the experience.Extreme incompetence when dealing with multiple checks. The word "extreme" is not at all too harsh here. Very time consuming with nothing in the way of amends making. At no point did management address our needs/issues/problems etc. This is a small place and this extremely frustrating experience, unfortunately caused us to be quite vocal in our displeasure. IGNORED.The quality of the food (minus the French fries) was poor. One dish was served incomplete on two points, with no attempts or offers at all to adjust the check and another dish (the grilled fish) was so dry, it might as well have been jerky. It was simply inedible. This establishment is impossible to recommend. Impossible.

I've never left a review of a place before because I usually never felt a need to. This is probably the worst experience I've ever had at a bar or restaurant. The bartender was the meanest bartender I've ever seen. She was on a power trip the whole night. Demanding customers to order certain ways telling the other bartender that an order was too complicated for them (literally two glasses of wine and a beer on separate tabs) Then we sat down to eat. This place presents itself to be a fine dining experience but the food is terribly cheap. It's terrible bar food with a high price tag. The kids chicken tender plate was $15 and it looked like $4 chicken tenders from a dive bar. The $14.50 brisket burger was dry and the bread was stale. The only good thing I tried were the truffle fries. The waitress was young and very rude. Two people at our table ordered a shrimp sandwich that was supposed to come with remolaude sauce and when the sandwiches arrived the server said that they didn't have any. It took speaking to a manger to get this very basic sauce. This place should really consider rethinking their business model and try hiring some nicer people to work for them.

Love love love the Wine Garden. It adds a touch of class to Olde Towne. The recent upgrades are brilliant; love the new chairs and touch-ups. It was exciting to see a big crowd last night. Thanks for keeping Olde Towne Alive.
