Not great Italian food. Nor was the shrimp creole very good. The sauce tasted like fresh tomatoes with no seasoning no spice. It was very odd. barely edible. My friend had a white sauce on pasta and it was kind of like the Old spaghetti Factory clam sauce. It’s ok kids will like it. The Ponchartrain Benedict is one of, if not the best breakfast plates I've ever had. The service was fantastic despite being sorta busy and the food was really well prepared. I can't stress this enough... Get some breakfast here ASAP!!
Just off the beaten path you will find one of the most delicious spots in town. A Touch of Italy. Im teling you it's not your mama's lasagna, but honestly they got the recipe from that Sicilian grandmother you always knew. Now serving breakfast and meal prep selections. This restaurant will be a long standing slidell institution for many years to come. We'll definitely be seeing yall again.
