The food was standard Waffle House food. We were greeted when we walked in (we are an interracial couple). A white family came in after us. The leader that day told our waitress to put in the other family's order before ours. We also didn't get menus until after that other family did. They were not busy. There were more empty booths than occupied ones.

This Waffle House used to be the best waffle house in Slidell. Today we walk in it’s not busy. No one waited on us after 15 minutes. We got up and left. There were three dirty tables needing to be cleaned and five waitresses standing around chatting with each other instead of servicing the customer. I am very sad to see the service in this waffle house deteriorate.
