We stopped at this Waffle House at 2:30 am just before the Christmas holidays, and we weren't expecting much, because of the time of day. The cook was outside taking a break, and he greeted us with a smile and welcomed us into Waffle House by opening the door for us and inviting us inside. The waitress inside was just as happy and friendly as the cook was! By their demeanor and attitudes, you would've thought it was 9:00 am...but NO! The place was completely empty, and it was super clean. Both of them were so warm and welcoming, we felt like we had arrived at a family member's house. They took our order right away, and even made small talk with us while they cooked and prepared our breakfasts. They were genuinely two of the nicest people. On top of that, the food was delicious and tasted like a home cooked meal. We were so happy we stopped in.

They Waffle House is a greasy spoon kinda place to eat. They're all throughout the South and it's popular for travelers. (They might have them up north, but I don't go up north much.) The food is constant from Waffle House to Waffle House. It's decent breakfast n lunch food. The munu has plenty of options.

We're on vacation and we're headed from New Orleans to Gulf Shores Alabama. We had eaten a few things in Nawlins but this meal at the unassuming Wallfe House might been the best meal of the trip so far! It was awesome diner faire and our server was killing it! The coffee was flowing and she kept us in the ridiculous amount of cream and sweetener we needed. Great folks and great food! Get the cheese grits!!
