Though I usually do not like WH food, especially the grits and hash browns, I found myself asking to taste them and sufficiently satisfied and ordered them with my eggs. Mrs. Patty was out server and she was so sweet and kind and just the perfect ray of sunshine. I have been told that the store on Gause Blvd. is the best one in Slidell and I must say, I agree. Thank you Mrs. Patty.

I needed a waffle for lunch and it was great as always. Very attentive servers.
Stopped in for an All Star, wasnt too busy maybe 30% full of customers. The server didnt really seem to want to be there.
I received my meal less the waffle. 10 mins later I asked if I could please get it and the server basically snapped at me saying it was being made. Not sure why there was a big gap but what I can say is this was not a good waffle house waffle.
It came out flat and mushy, with the consistency of a pancake. Between the server basically only seeing us to take the order, drop off the food, and giving us the bill, Id say the service here and experience wasnt too good.
She didnt even bother to ask how things were, and we didnt get refills on our beverages until the meal was over. If there was a problem, all she had to do was walk 10 feet and let us know, not a big deal. But the way this was handled was simply unprofessional. The server had the long pony tail and ink everywhere on her.
I wouldnt go back to this location. It wasnt the worst, but there are better locations available nearby to choose from.

I spent an hour there with only one other customer. Every table was dirty and in the time there not a single table got cleaned. I was given a dirty cup filled with old coffee after asking for my drink for about 20 minutes. Looks like two teenagers, more on the phone then actually working. Work stations are dirty. I understand a rush beforehand, but in an hour of only 2 people things should have been worked on. They told the people coming in as I left they were dirty because it was so busy, but it was dead when I walked in. Wheres management?

This Waffle House is usually on point. Food always good. This afternoon the food was good, but the service was horrendous. Where do you find these people? I was overcharged. I asked for a clarification, but I received no response. Of course not. The worst service I've had. The store wasn't even busy. The Food and the Cook were fine, but the service was the worst. Padding the bill is illegal.
