“Always look forward to Mardi Gras time because that means King Cakes are out. For years I have always told anyone that would listen about Navarre's King Cakes being the best I have ever had.. Except this year something happen. The first one was over the top as usual but the one we bought yesterday was a big disappointment. Something has changed! The icing was different like a cheaper product used or something. Just was not a great product as before. I never had a problem with the price because it was such a "WOW" product to our taste buds but not anymore. If you change the recipe to save a buck, please change it back to that winning product.“

“My family and I love this place! We don't use any other donut shop. The staff is so friendly! The owner always makes a point to speak to and interact with our small kids. Their large variety of donuts are always fresh and warm! Their breakfast croissants CAN NOT be replicated, I've tried! The croissant is so soft and its the perfect ratio of meat and egg. My husband and I especially like to stop in on Friday school mornings as a treat for our kiddos!“

I have had NOTHING Bundt (like that? 😉) the BEST experiences at this store. Every time I walk in, the girls are super warm and their attitudes are super inviting. The cakes are ALWAYS, SO fresh and they have a VERY generous reward program via the app/website.

I placed an order back on December 31st, and I was so busy that I never picked it up. Today is February the 3rd and I called to see if I could still get it or at the very least get a refund and the lady Kayla that I spoke with was SO kind, understanding, and accommodating. She said that their staff’s standard protocol is to give the customer a courtesy call if the order is not picked up within 2 days; well, I told her that I never received a call, and I 1000% expected her to be at least partially rude or condescending—which is how most people are these days. Kayla’s response was “I’m so sorry about that. We are a new store, so a lot of us are still learning, but we actually just had a meeting about how we can do things to better serve our customers.” She said every single thing from the answering of my call to seeing me soon to pick up my order, in the kindest, most sincere tone that anyone could imagine. Thank you Kayla and all of the other staff at this location. I dealt with a rude staff member years ago at the Covington location, but “this ain’t that,” as they say 😉😆

Lastly, if you are trying to pick apart someone’s ingredients, etc to boost your own bakery sales, how about you advertise more and not be so abrasive??? That is a sure fire way to NOT get people to support local bakeries. SMH 🤦‍♀️“

“This place is currently called Railway Cafe, and it's got a very cozy, rather nostalgic vibe to it. The servers are very polite, and the food is worth the price. I ordered the fish po'boy, and it was quite possibly the best po'boy I ever had!“
