Stepping into Amjenns is like entering a time machine to 70s America, before everything went wrong. The prices are beyond reasonable, the food is prepared with loving care, and they were even amenable to making a reuben Yankee style with pastrami instead of corned beef. A great place to swing by for a burger and milkshake, call in an order for your lunch break, have brunch with friends, get a hot bowl of soup on a chilly rainy day, and have an ice cream to cool you off on a hot summer day! I eat here on the regular. Ruben sandwich is my favorite. Made to order always fresh. The only place around to get a fried bologna sandwich that I know of. Christine and Penny are always friendly as well!
