I gave 3 stars because I did not try the food. I will give the service and environment a 2. The beer was cold but bartenders not very attentive. Maybe overwhelmed due to low staffing (2 bartenders on shift). Asked for menu and never received one. Maybe they forgot. Went to Holiday Inn bar and restaurant and received better service.
Tried out Coconuts since it was in close proximity to our hotel. We arrived Saturday afternoon about 6. The restaurant portion was empty, but several patrons were sitting at the bar. The bartender was the only wait staff and we had to place our food order at the bar. I really did enjoy my cup of chicken and sausage gumbo. Some of our friends spoke highly of the hamburger. Not necessarily a family friendly place, but the food was enjoyable.
