Alan the GM gave us a great rate for 6 rooms. Rooms were ready when we got there, comfortable and clean. We were exhausted & we ate at the onsite restaurant & utilized the bar. Not to hold it against GM or employees, but the restaurant was understaffed. They did allow & encourage us because of the wait to do GrubHub which turned out great! Breakfast very good waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt parfait, bacon, eggs, gravy, breads, biscuits, sausage, muffins, grits, cereals,...
If you are travelling through Sulphur/Lake Charles, stop at this property to sleep ... rooms are beautiful ..very spacious and very quiet. Staff is the best .. great seeing ya'll Nicole, Danielle ... Meredith, good seeing you at the wonderful breakfast. Thanks for the "fresh" cinnamon rolls ... lots of variety at the breakfast, and if you are a HH Diamond Member, you get a $15 per person up to 2 people credit to your room! Beds are comfortable /// lots of free parking...
Food is good, drinks and service are fantastic. I had a chicken quesadilla and I came out good. I described a drink I wanted to the bartender and she made it perfectly. This place is so convenient when staying at the Holiday Inn.
