I don’t put 5 stars just because they didn’t suggest me to wait just 15 min for the buffet, instead they just give me the menu and tell me that buffet will be later

Food was better than anticipated. Waitress was so courteous from the moment I walked in until I left. Had the buffet but may order from the menu next time. Pretty enjoyable experience.

Not from the area and wanted to try some local food as we were visiting the area for the day. Found Lebleu's online and decided to try it.
The pros: Service from our waitress was fantastic. Older lady and I do not remember her name, but very sweet and attentive. The food I had was good. Popcorn shrimp was fresh, hush puppies tasted like they were homemade. Also enjoyed the gumbo. Clean restaurant and restrooms.
The cons: it was freezing cold inside that restaurant. I'm from Iowa, and had to walk out to our rental car and get a sweatshirt because I was literally shivering in there. And I like the cold! Food was also hit or miss with my family. My mom's fish was mushy for example.
All in all, I'd recommend. I'd be interested in trying another local place the next time I'm in the Lake Charles area.

The food on the buffet was way too spicy and salty. The waitress we had was very helpful and amazing.

Best place to eat some raw oysters in the lake charles/sulphur area since I've been living here for 2 years now the only place I go to raw oysters only thing that's missing is a TV or 2 at the oyster bar area with some sporting games football baseball etc... other than that it's a gem ?

Great food. Local hot spot. The lunch buffet is very good. I usually grab a steak with onion rings and fries for dinner. Ice cold draft in a 22oz mug!

Traveling I make a point of never eating at a chain restaurant. We stopped at Lebleu’s and was amazed. Candace our server was tremendous, she was very attentive and nice. They have a buffet. Ok I don’t normally eat enough to pay buffet prices but because of the selection I did. Food was flavorful, loved the gumbo. Bread pudding is to die for. Of wait the price….less than $20 a person.
I will be back!!!!

I had to give it 2 stars because the service was exceptional. Sadly, that's the only good thing I really have to say. We went on a Tuesday evening, so maybe that's the difference why this place is rated so highly but I can't leave a review off of what might happen on another night.
I did my research. I looked at pictures on google, looked at the menu, looked at their Facebook page, then went to their website. I knew exactly what I wanted to order. An appetizer of fried green tomatoes, their corn bisque, and one of the fish from their menu. I really wanted to try gumbo for the first time and was pretty stoked to try some authentic Louisiana cajun seasonings. When we got there we were given an extremely limited two page stapled together paper menu. Not one of the things I wanted to order were on it. None of it looked appetizing so we decided to try the buffet. The food was very fresh so it did have that going for them. It was all flavorless. Not a hint of seasoning. I choked down (literally) the food that i got. I was assured that the food here was not typical Cajon food and we'd have to try another resturaunt. I don't have it in me to come back during the weekend to see if they offer a full menu.
