I was disappointed with the Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich. It was literally cold after the 5 minute drive to the hotel. I warmed it up in the microwave. There was no spicy heat. The original Spicy Chicken sandwich has more spiciness. At least the Red Beans & Rice and the Cole Slaw were good. The service at the counter was very good.
I tell you what we stopped by this Popeyes on the way back to Austin, Texas and I was pleasantly surprised. The server was super nice. Very helpful. Food came out quickly. It was HOT.You might be thinking these should be expected, but I've been to Popeyes around the country and it's not what I get usually. Five stars well deserved. Highly recommended.
This location for lunch is busy! Unfortunately they are understaffed. The drive thru definitely moves faster than dine in. The manager mentioned to all the guest 1-4-23 they were extremely short handed. The food was okay. The service was poor. That's because there was no true leadership. Take a order bag an order. It was silent on the employee end. Just going thru the motions. Not giving hot and fresh food not giving great customer service. It made me sad the employees...
