Worst service ever!! Used the app to order our food to speed the process up. Saw our order ready for pickup on the counter but had to wait 10 minutes for the one and only person taking orders to ask for the name. Then it took another 5 minutes for her to fix 2 drinks and bag the two items that had been sitting there. People who had ordered ahead of us ..but in person .. were told it would be 20-30 minute wait. Unbelievable! And .. our total was almost $30 for two combos! We can be waited on at a restaurant for that amount! š
Stopped today to try their new fried pickles and pickle lemonade. sat in the drive through for a while, but that's understandable, as they just dropped a bunch of new items. what isn't understandable is the rude and aggressive way in which I was spoken to at the drive through microphone. I was intermittently told to wait, followed almost immediately with a different female voice impatiently demanding that I order. after informing her I was told to wait, she said "well is there anything I can help you with?" with an extremely rude tone. I told her she could help me by dropping the attitude. when I got to the drive through, she was shouting at me from the back of the kitchen that she had no attitude. then she made a point to take the bag of food from the person at the window and hand it to me. when I opened the bag, I was unsurprised to find cold and half filled containers of fired pickles, with one overturned entirely and filled with burnt pickles. I'm really disgusted by this treatment and don't think I'll be back soon.

Worse experience, we came to eat here after been in the road for 4 hours , me and my kids want to go to the bathroom really bad , and had a long line , just 1 toailet, we waited and got our turn we was 3 so took a little longer the manager needed to use the restroom too , so We tried to go quickly but was 2 kids , she got mad and looked to us with a nasty face , and got inside the menās bathroom and slammed the door really hard , then my family who came to visit from another country and doesnāt speak a lot English asked for a meal with a lot spicy, by mistake , and wasnāt able to eat , she said she canāt do anything, we need to order and pay for another food ! I never experienced such a bad attitude in a food place ! I donāt recommend here because of a bad customer services and of course a racism, because my family who is visiting USA doesnāt speak a lot English !

First off I just wanna say I love Popeyes! But this location did it for me! The service is trash. I done came to the Sulphur Popeyes twice and everytime I come, itās somebody taking orders with a stanky attitude. Then when I get to the window to let the person know how rude the person was taking my order, āhe just closed the door in my face.ā Not great customer service at all! Iām not even the type to write a bad complaint but why everytime I come to this location I being talked to in a rude away. Especially when Iām coming to you respectfully. I get that jobs may have short staff and certain issues but itās NEVER coo to take it out on the person you are serving. My job is currently short staff but they donāt ever allow us to come at customer rude and disrespectful regardless of if we short staff or NOT. Like I said this location is rude and itāll be my last time coming. Yall have a blessed day!

Everyone was craving fried chicken today. What the heck has happened to Popeyes? The biscuts were dry, overdone, flat and tasted like chemical preservatives. The chicken ( tiny little legs ) was not good. Overdone and bland. Disappointed !

I came here in the evening so it wasn't too busy. I ordered 2 mild breast with biscuits and a 6 piece bone wings with sauce; the problem wasn't that I got my order as fast as I placed it but, it was how after I checked my for at the counter and asked the young guy who took my order if they could make my food over because the food wasn't fresh, he neglected what I said saying the chicken just came out the fryer. Immediately I opened the box and showed him how saugy the chicken breast were and I said he lied. Thankfully his shift leader walked up and apologized for the inconvenience and had someone drop 2 Brest in the dryer for me. I thanked him and the wait was worth it but that good feeling was short because, the young guy at the front counter smacked his lips after he handed me my food and I told him that he forgot to add my biscuits. It's like this younger generation of workers are pissed at the job they applied to work for, I pray he develops himself better and reaches a better purpose but right now I'll just stay away from this establishment and spend my $20 elsewhere.
Refused to give me a doordash order because of 1 employee that has issues with someone I know and threatened to call the cops if I didn't leave.

First I'd like to say I have nothing against the employees there. They are there to do their job, go home, pay their bills.
That being said, the food wasn't great. As most people here in town, we had a craving for fried chicken, but Popeyes is the monopoly on fried chicken in these parts, so we don't have many options.
Ordered online, when I got there my food wasn't in the pick up cabinet at pick-up time, so I sat and waited. No biggie. Waited 20 minutes, still hungry for mediocre fried chicken.
One employee asked if I had a mobile order, I said yes, and that was that. Waited another bit before a diff employee asked for my name. Turns out my order has been ready since I got there, was just never placed in the cubby.
So, don't be me. If you have an online order, check the cubby and then ask the sure.
The chicken was dry. Drier than their overcooked biscuits. But it was end of the day, so I imagine they just gave whatever had been under the warmers the last hour. Overcooked, like my brain after a long work week.
So, if you like their food, don't stop going on my account. But I figured I'd just share my thoughts before I pass out for work tomorrow. Goodnight Sulphur š

Day and Night !!
During the Daytime shift the manager and employees are always nice and friendly some of the best service ever . Which is why I keep going back. Night shift, however is a catastrophe! The manager on duty is never aware seems to always have issues as if heās going through a personal matter ; has animal hair covering the entire jacket while working around food , and no control over the shift .
There is one particular employee that always makes the night experience a nightmare. The tall foreign (black lady) is always RUDE and unprofessional. She never has her shoes on properly, always pretends that she has other task to do when guest arrive , just throws your food in the bag and never closes the box; and always engaged in some sort of conversation thatās not professional all while ignoring the guest . I can understand now why management has moved her to the night shift because sheās not friendly at all . After running restaurants for over 15years, I try to understand how things work and give the benefit of doubt , but far too many times I go in and place my order this employee is extremely unprofessional. Her alone , makes the experience with Popeyes on Ruth street a coin toss .
