Stopped in for lunch. It's been many years since I was here last. Not much changed inside but was clean. Ordered the lunch special. From the time we sat down until we left was 20 minutes. Fast friendly service. Almost took much to eat for lunch and we didn't have a dessert. It was a great choice in Sulphur for lunch. I'll be back

This was my first time eating at Richards, and I will say I was impressed. I got a plate to share and wish I had my own. The meal was cooked to order. Everything was nice and hot except the lb of Boudin. It was cold. I don’t know if I was supposed to warm it up, but I ate it. I had the catfish and two sides I chose were the French fries and 1 Boudin Ball. I added two pieces of French toast that were nice and buttery, which complimented my fish/fries. I like their tartar sauce as well. It is not chunky but creamy. I had a pound of Boudin for 6.49. It was good but probably would have tasted even better warmed up. The young lady behind the cash register was nice and friendly. The place looks cozy and family oriented. 8.5/10 highly recommend. I will be back to try other menu items if I am in the area. Richard's have an everyday lunch menu. Go check it out. :)

Boudin not good...poor flavor....took 15 minutes just to get 2lbs Boudin...not busy either

Stopped here to purchase boudin, but it was ice cold when I got in the car. Got home, and it smelled spoiled. I was disappointed, of course. Maybe it was just a bad batch.

Stopped in for a to go order. After getting menu, staff wasn't rude or rushing us, let us wait at an empty table instead of having to stand. Boudin was hot, fresh, absolute perfection. The combo shrimp and fish kids meal was great too, not too greasy, cooked fresh. Staff was warm, welcoming, and fantastic, even if the one table of customers was rude. Definitely worth the drive.

Walked in and looked around. Found an empty table and sat. Waited for service. Ordered from menu. They offer plate lunch but nothing with seafood. Servers paid attention to my status but were interested in getting orders to go ready and general chit chat amongst themselves.
