I ask my freind from tx where did she want to eat so we live close by waffle house on ruth st in Slogur La because she likes the food so we went to the one at 2621 Ruth st.Girl ask what we wanted we wanted coffee first we got old stale coffee and dirty cups and i told her and she said that wasn't all that was dirty and she said it was the night crews fault because they dont use bleach so she said her mom worked there and said it was always dirty it should of been cleaned before she brought it to me so it was her fault so she let the guy bring me another cup coffee witch he was eating while waiting on me and food was flying i dont like to complain but it was embarrassing and not to mention disgusting for this man tostand at our table but food flying from his rotten teeth and clothes filthy and that was the worse experience i ever had and very embarrassing to me for my friend my disabled sons not knowing any better had already stared to eat and the bill was 57$ ( reasonable price but terrible experience! Never again wiill i go to waffle house

The design of the place was unique especially with its wood table design. The service was great considering fact that it was a fast paced friendly environment that felt comfortable to be at even during late at night. Finally while I always love their bacon egg and cheese grit bowl … my only issue was the excessive butter that felt very heavy to digest. Other than that loved the place and highly recommend

Stopped by on our way home. No cars we were scared about food and service. Great food, great service, it was just too early for the normal crowd. We enjoyed our time eating.
Server Nicole was not very nice, did not say more than “welcome to Waffle House” only when someone walked in the door. Chili was cold, my husbands eggs were wrong.

It's your typical waffle house experience. Freezing cold inside per normal. Warm greeting on arrival. Clean tables. Packed out. Clean restrooms. Fast and friendly service. My husband food was spot on for 1 a.m and busy. My waffle was undercooked 3 times. Server tried to fix it with no issue. I think the waffle maker was on the outs unfortunately. Golden brown exterior and undercooked raw dough interior. We enjoy this location on passing thru each time.

Breakfast food is good. Always a friendly waitress. I order the chicken hashbrown bowl add mushrooms and jalepenos. And a side of scrambled eggs with cheese. Always satisfying when I want breakfast food. I go to a Waffle House atleast twice a month
