Great food and service. Our server, Macie, was amazing! She is clearly experienced and focused on a great experience for customers. Ask for Macie as your server on your next trip to Cafe Josephine!

The dinner was okay overall. Our waitress Macy was attentive and sweet. We sat next to the grill behind the windows and i noticed flies flying around and the cooks not doing anything about them. I just thought that was gross and thinking about the food getting contaminated. The money that we paid I just expected better. Corn and crab bisque was ok as well as the crab cakes. The egg rolls were delicious.

The steaks are fantastic. The building is a little outdated with very limited parking.

A neat concept, but lacked execution. The food was slightly above average. I will try again, but not with a party of 8.

Seafood salad was terrible. No seasoning at all. Had to send it back and get something else. Server was very attentive and understanding. My son got the country fried ribeye and again very bland floury taste. Will not return and the prices are way out of line with the quality or lack thereof of food.

WOW! We went yesterday to celebrate our 19th anniversary and let me just say that everything we tried was delicious. We had the jalapeño duck poppers, dozen of charbroiled oysters, I had The seafood pasta and my husband had the seafood platter and everything was amazing and so flavorful. Our waitress surprised us with a lemon blueberry cake that they wrote Happy Anniversary on. That made us feel so special. Great environment! Clean and service was outstanding. Thanks again. The one hour and ten minute drive was worth it. We will definitely be back.

My wife ordered a dozen char grilled oysters for her birthday meal along with a stuffed potato and half of a wedge salad. Salad was smaller than usual but good. The potato was perfect as usual. However, she was disappointed that the oysters were so small that the shells were practically empty and burnt black as coal on the outside. We are locals and we've been enjoying Josephine's for years. I know food prices are high but really... 2-3 dozen of these little guys may have equalled a dozen normal oysters.

The food is very good, and the prices are fair. However, the biscuits for which Joesphine's are known for, were very late in arriving. Very late. Also a few tables away were full group of unruly children, literally running in circles around their table. At least the kids did not run around my table. I'll go back but I will look for better seating and make sure our biscuits arrive in a more timely manner.

Our food was delish. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits, which our server informed us was a very rich dish. It was more cheesy than he prefers. So our server was correct. While the dish was very good, it was not his favorite. I choose the crab cakes. The price was dear, but it is one of my favorite dishes. It was absolutely wonderful. The cakes were spicy, the asparagus was cooked perfectly. The only drawback was all the shells in the crab cake. I would have enjoyed a salad to accompany the dish, but it wasn't offered.

2nd time here to rectify the mishaps of the 1st time. Only thing improved was the waitress. She was the sweetest and did her best. Oysters were outstanding, Crab egg rolls can't say because the order never came. Steak went from one location after being cooked to another to be placed in a bath of salty garlic butter. Cooks should not have cell phones out checking while preparing food.
