If you’re visiting from out of town, you have to eat here. I had the gulf fish meunière with a side of charred cabbage, and an old fashioned cocktail. I highly recommend the fish, it was perfectly seasoned with a slight crispness on the outside but not dry on the inside. The cabbage could use more seasoning but was still very good. The old fashioned was also delicious. The portion size is on the small size so I would order an appetizer as well next time. Service and atmosphere...
Cinclare is an absolute downtown treasure! The food is consistently outstanding, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff makes you feel right at home. And the drinks? Hands down the best in town. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves great flavors and even better company.
I want to give this place more stars, but all the expensive food we ordered was really salty. The steak was so salty we needed to have them whip up a special creamy sauce to tone it down. The staff there are wonderful though and took care of us when we mentioned it. And our waiter was so knowledgeable about the menu I was very impressed.
