About El Barrio Tacos & Tequila

El Barrio Tacos & Tequila offers a lively atmosphere and drinks that are absolutely top-notch, easily one of the best parts of the experience. The food is okay, though for some it doesn’t quite live up to the cocktails. The restaurant gets very busy, but there are only a limited number of tables. Some have been turned away because there were “no available tables,” even though several were sitting empty waiting on reservations. Expanding outdoor seating or reconsidering how reservations are handled could make a big difference.

Many guests find the food fresh, very tasty, and fantastic. The salsa is the best some have eaten, with excellent flavor and the perfect amount of heat. The Fajitas Parrillada for 2 comes on a steaming, popping skillet with steak, chicken and shrimp cooked to perfection. The sampler on the menu was great, though the rice and beans could have been warmer. Good happy hour menus are available. Service is very welcoming, attentive, and friendly, with servers checking on tables several times. Food is 10/10. Some recommend take-out or delivery for anyone over 50 due to the bass in the music. El Barrio is very much worth the trip.

Finally tried El Barrio for lunch and they did not disappoint! Atmosphere is beautiful but lively and the food and margaritas were all delish!! We will definitely be back soon!

Great atmosphere and staff members. The food we ordered was very delicious and also the margaritas. Would definitely come here over and over again. Our family member came from Alabama and came to El Barrio with us and he absolutely loved it.
