Gina catered a party we recently played for and the food was simply amazing! The gumbo was a favorite along with the crawfish pies, fried fish, and chicken strips! She really knows what’s she’s doing in the kitchen!

We had an amazing time here at Gina's. Our food was delicious and fresh. For an appetizer we had onion rings and a cup of crab corn soup. The onion rings are really thin and crispy , which is so delicious! The cup of soup was a bit cheesy. For the meal I had a shrimp poboy and a piece of my mom's catfish! ( How could I not ! It's fresh Louisiana catfish ) Absolutely DELICIOUS!The shrimp on my poboy and the fish gave me a very similar taste to how the fried shrimp and fish used to taste like at politz. I was so happy about that. We were told by the waitress at politz that they no longer serve Louisiana catfish. Which was really sad to hear , and taste. With this visit at Gina's at the Legion I now no longer have to worry about what place to go to get some good ole Louisiana seafood when I'm back in town.When I was younger Gina used to run a snowball stand that us all in St. Charles Community would support. It was great to continue to support her restaurant. Thank you Gina for all of your great dishes and memories that came along with them.

The food is was amazing I’m a local here I can tell you if you come on the right day you will be amazed on how good they are also we love the steak there also it is a great support for veterans and police

The food was great we had a large group of about 25 people. We were only allowed to order off of a special menu. The others in the restaurant were allowed to orflder off the full menu.A few of the members of the group were upset because they had kids and were not allowed to order on the main menu, and the kids didn't eat what was offered on the main menu.Although I didn't hear anyone being rude, the others in the group said that the manager was very rude.

Comfortable environment, live cajun music, foods were greatly proportioned, homemade deserts were amazing, & prices were great. We definitely left in a food coma. I had the hamburger steak. It was somewhat bland but the meat was welldone like i like the meat. The presentation was amazing. My fiancé had the spaghetti ?& meatballs. The meatballs were huge and so yummy. The spaghetti sauce tasted amazing. We had the homemade desert bread pudding. It was very delicious. Everything was fresh and fulfilling.
