I am posting a review for my sister who tried on 2 attempts to order from this cake shop. Giving the benefit of doubt and things happen for the first time when her daughter was left without a cake for her 13th birthday and the second time when a cake was made for her other daughter's 1st communion that LOOKED NOTHING like what she ordered. This cake shop doesn't seem to be organized with their ordering processes and from reading other reviews you risk not having a cake made if you attempt their online ordering policy or if you do get a cake it won't look like what you ordered. Good luck if you buy from them.

For the last 2 years I've had my daughter's birthday cakes made here and we haven't been disappointed yet.

Changing my great rating to very poor, never using again! Highly disappointed in the customer service, ended up not even having a cake for my son's birthday party!!! I was never told I had to pay for the cake BEFORE picking up till I got there and the cake wasn't even made! They "claim" they started this a year ago BUT when I got my daughter's cake in April (6 months ago) I paid when picking up so that's a straight lie! And if you want people to pay before picking up then TELL THEM when they order or at least give a courtesy call before cancelling the order because it wasn't paid for!!! Sad excuse for a REAL cake shop, Rouses is better at customer service and orders than this!!!

I stopped by this bake shop since it had good reviews. I was getting ready to check out and I see a worker in the kitchen eating a snack with her bare hands then go right back into decorating. I was definitely surprised. I ended up not eating what I purchased.

I ordered a cake for my son's baptism. When it was time to pick up, my cake was never made. I had to get a cake from Rouses as a last-minute option. There was no apology or anything from the owner. It was definitely disappointing, very unprofessional, and I won't order from this cake shop anymore.
Geeez.., a guy brought in a dessert he purchased from here and I had to go get some more. I can’t remember the name other than ‘napoleon’ or something but geez!!, it was so good. High recommend
Love this place and the new display with prices. My husband loves the cakes been ordering since they were down the lane. Love to support local people.

So I've attempted to call the shop several times over the last month with no response. Every time I call it's either no one answers or if they do answer, they immediately place you on hold and don't come back to answer your call. I had a few questions I would like to ask prior to ordering, if they can make the type of cake I'm looking for. I guess they are completely satisfied with their current customers and NOT looking for new customers. That's just bad customer service.
Pulled up at 3:50 to go buy some sweets for my job tomorrow door was locked even though they close at 4:00. Called the phone while still in parking lot someone answered I asked did y’all close early she proceeds to say we close at 4:00. I said I came to the door at 3:51 it’s lock I’m still in parking lot she hangs up the phone. I durely hope the owner sees this because they don’t ever have to worry about my business anymore. Unprofessional‼️Might I add as I was sitting in my car calling them another customer walked up to the door pulled on it and it was still locked.
My niece and I went into the shop to order a baby shower cake. It was a two tier cake. Specific details were given and written by the Ninette’s cake shop associate. Also, pictures were shown and emailed to Ninette’s as a reference. There were some minor detail changes to the original picture because they could not do fondant animals so my niece settled for 3D pictures around the cake. Pick up the cake and I was in disbelief. The cake was no where near the picture. The fondant work sloppy and did not look like a professional cake decorator did it. Not to mention their was one gaudy flower sticking out of the cake where numerous flowers should have been on the cake. They were quick to send out their high dollar invoice which I paid quickly. In my opinion it was not worth over $200.00. I posted a picture of the cake so everyone could see for themselves. Very disappointed customer. So I know I will get a response with an excuse as to why it wasn’t right but the day is over and a first time mother only has only one baby shower and one special cake. Fix that.
I was not planning to do a public share of my experience, but I did not like the tone in which you answered my granddaughter's feedback.This was a horrible cake which ruined her 20th birthday experience. There was nothing positive to say about your cake. The accusation that I had not told my granddaughter that you had offered a refund only reflects on your character. You did say you would credit my account . In your email you said A FEW very important things... YOU OBVIOUSLY HAD OTHER COMPLAINTS AND BLAMED IT ON THE FLOUR, YOU APOLOGIZED THAT NO ONE HAD CALLED ME (AND STILL HAVEN'T), AND THAT YOU WOULD CREDIT MY ACCOUNT. SO if this was a cash transaction, why didn't you call me. I do not know your policy on cash. It was ordered online, so was it a cash order? You said it could have been settled with a phone call. Well MAM, why didn't you call. The picture shows how much was eaten or tossed at the gathering. The rest was thrown in the garbage.THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED WITH QUALITY CONTROL AND TREATING ALL CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT. I am sorry your reply to my granddaughter was so harsh because this is a very true reflection of my experience at this bakery. The money is irrelevant because we can't get back the experience of enjoying her 20th birthday cake.
My grandma bought this cake for my birthday it was extremely dry , she contacted the bakery via email and was told she’d receive a refund almost 14 days ago and still hasn’t received it!
