I expected more of a SE LA meal. I got a shrimp poboy. The trawl must have had a hole in it because I had minimal shrimp on it. The bread was not French bread more of a loaf bread. I ordered onion rings and they came out burnt. My wife had a cheese burger poboy and again, the bread was a loaf type bread. The meat patty (i guess it was meat) was a patty that you would get out of a sleeve from Sam's.
The atmosphere was alright and the cashier was very welcoming.
They would have to make major improvements on food for me to return.
Very disappointed because we heard this place was a great place to eat.

We were out visiting New Orleans, decided to take a few plantation tours, and had a recommendation that we should stop for lunch at this little place.
It is very much a down home diner, literally a quarter mile from one of the plantations.
As we walked in the front door, lady behind the cash register, grievance, and offered to take our order. We let her know that we were first time at the restaurant, and needed a little bit of assistance.
She was happy to explain everything, let us know what was good and what was better!
We ordered two separate entrées to give us a fee for the food.
Both entrees were certainly local flavor.

This was 10/10. We had the seafood gumbo, shrimp po'boy, fried okra and bread pudding. It was all amazing, the staff and atmosphere was great as well. Highly recommend.

Food was good, but it took about an hour to get it, and we were there on Monday. Just be prepared to wait.

Food was really delicious but we waited over an hour for it. Not a place to go if you’re on a hurry.

I definitely wouldn't eat here again. Food wasn't that special. 1 hour and 20 minutes to get our food. Other people kept inquiring about their food and why the long wait! Rumor has it that someone from the fall of Rome is still waiting on their order. Also have to bust your table. No napkins, no utensils. Poor and unfriendly service.

Great food and close to several plantations along the Mississippi River. Eat here instead of at the plantations.

Tasty food and great serving size. Cute little place and customer service was perfect. I would suggest this place for lunch while visiting any of the local plantations.
