The menu is simple like the restaurant! But don't be fooled because the food was fantastic! I had the Boudins and my friend had the shrimp sandwich. We were both very happy with our choices!

Great little restaurant. Catfish and shrimp were really good. Added some corn nuggets, which were good as well. Friendly people, great Cajun atmosphere.

Stopped by here for lunch on the way to a tour of the Laura Plantation. Type of place where you order at the counter up front then take your seat. Mostly had crawfish and shrimp along with a few sides. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal.

Definitely a cultural experience for us Jersey natives! Went after doing a tour of nearby Laura Plantation on a Friday afternoon. We have a family of five and we ordered 3 lbs of boiled crawfish, gator bites, fried okra, boudin balls, and the kids catfish meal. All were excellent, fresh and served pretty quickly. Kids devoured the catfish and gator bites and we all partook in the crawfish. It’s definitely not fine dining, but we were there for a legit Cajun meal. Lots of fun alligator and fishing decor that livens up the place. Highly recommend if you want a hole place to enjoy authentic local cuisine.
Waited for 30mins, only to be told they forget about our order without a sorry. Then they forgot about a sandwich in our order. The food is mid at best. There was also sand in the oyster sandwich.
Delicious! We arrived late for lunch at about 2:00. The hostess was friendly and welcoming. The owner even came out to greet us. I didn't ask if she was responsible for all of the great recipes, but I can see the love in her eyes and her passion for feeding people well. There was all kinds of food available to purchase and cook at home as well. Local fish, shrimp, frog legs, smoked rabbit, sausage, and more. I only wish I had more room in my belly!Kid-friendliness: Great for kids

The overstuffed shrimp poboy: great bread, okay shrimp, needs some sauce. Huge portion: one sandwich could feed two grown men. Gumbo had a nice flavor. Good service.

Everyone with a dead face at the tables. You walk in and no one welcomes you. Devastatingly, we left without trying to order anything. Ramshackle.

Right down the road from Laura and Whitney plantations! Great fried food! I really liked the Crawfish Boudin Balls. I also enjoyed the Gator Nuggets with the honey mustard. The blonde lady who was on the cash register and running food, was super sweet and a great server! I highly recommend you stop here for a bite!
