Ordered shrimp platter fries was horrible seems like they've been sitting all day and shrimps tasted old food was not hot when I got it

I had a Seafood platter. The flavor was on point and the texture of the fried seafood was perfect. This is actually my second time eating at Charlie’s. They haven’t missed yet!!

I absolutely love this place! The food has never disappointed, and I really hope they never change the portion sizes. I usually avoid ordering dishes I can cook at home, like pasta, but at Charlie’s Restaurant, it’s impossible to resist the creamy crawfish pasta—it’s my absolute favorite! While that’s my go-to dish, everything I’ve tried here has been outstanding. About a year ago, I brought my grandma from Guatemala, and she fell in love with Charlie’s too. To this day, she says it’s her favorite restaurant in the USA! That just goes to show—Charlie’s has earned international approval. Highly recommend!

We ordered Mama’s Rump Roast, thiss roast tad ed like my Mom’s Rump Roast. It was stuffed with garlic and other seasonings to perfection, and it was so tender, the meat nearly melted in my mouth. The gravy was so delicious that I had to order a side of rice . The Salad was so succulently delicious and it had a homemade ranch dressing that I almost ordered just the dressing. I had the Baked Sweet Potato with my order and that Sweet Potato was naturally sweet and gigantic in size.! My complete meal was enough to serve a family of 4. My Husband had the Mama ‘s Rump Roast with Red Beans and Rice and Potato Salad. He immediately exclaimed “ This Rump Roast with all the garlic tastes like your Momma’s roast”! He said the Red Beans were good and creamy and fresh. I tell you, Charlie’s Restaurant will be my new Sunday Dinner locale. You should come and get some of the DELICIOUSNESS! Oh and the Turkey Gumbo was great and tasty!

Absolutely amazing restaurant, super friendly and helpful staff. Food was amazing! Big portions at reasonable prices. Would recommend to anyone looking for authentic Louisiana food!

My work crew and I have been here for breakfast and lunch, awesome on both counts! The red beans and rice with sweet corn bread was absolute fire, loved it, plan on getting it everyday for lunch from now on. 10 out of 10, will be back again and again

Absolutely excellent food. We ordered the Gumbo and the gator, both were fabulous, we were hoping to stop in again before leaving town but we didn't get a chance. Hope to come back some day and try more menu options.
