I usually do a takeout order when I’m in the area because I absolutely love the stuffed crab. However, the last time I purchased my usual Steamboat Platter, I wasn’t pleased with the food; there was an excessive amount of salt. I live nearly an hour away from the restaurant, so I couldn’t ask for a replacement. At that time, I decided that I would not visit the restaurant again. However, I was in the area again recently and decided to give it another try. This time, I am absolutely convinced that I will not return.It seems as if they’ve started serving a different type of fish other than catfish in the Steamboat platter; I almost thought that parts of it were only slightly cooked but then I realized that it was not the same fish that I was used to being served. I was very disappointed because I ordered extra fish and couldn’t eat it. Also, everything other than the stuffed crab was extremely salty. At this point, I’ll have to satisfy my cravings elsewhere.

First time at Steamboat Warehouse. It was amazing. Great service and food was excellent.
The service was excellent. The waiter was fast to bring waters and our drinks from the bar were very fast and tasty. The food was very good. And it came out fast. I had the Lafitte ribeye. Perfectly cooked and very tasty. The only small negative was the chicken, and sausage gumbo tasted a lot like BBQ suace. Not my favorite.

Food is OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS every time. Their specials are something to which we always look forward to - you never know what amazing entrees the chef will dream up and create. The decor has a cool historic vibe to it and you find yourself intrigued with the story of this old building that has survived through its various events through the years.
