This place has good food but it's hard to tell if they're open or not I work at a sign shop HD graphic at 1000 North 18th Street in Monroe and I was telling them that we could do some signs
for them and it would show to help them get some business

These guys have recently upped their game. Love what they have done to their sides! Everything we got, the beans, potato salad and coleslaw were really good. BBQ was good as well. I am so glad we decided to stop in again. Staff are all friendly and helpful. They appreciate a kind word. Hope you enjoy you next visit.

Great food at great prices served up by great people. You’d be hard pressed to find a better, tastier deal here in NELA. There’s plenty to choose from, including tons meats, sides, and desserts - it’s hard to pick what to try each time (so come back often). Their turkey is probably the best smoked turkey I’ve ever had in my life, but it’s alllllll good here. They even have daily specials! Do not sleep on BBQ West - they will pleasantly surprise you!
