I have always loved the atmosphere and service at Cracker Barrel. Our waiter was so so so helpful and funny! Truly an amazing man!

I love this restaurant so much and I'm so glad they're not changing it. However I wish they would bring the hash brown tots back, they were so delicious. I usually get breakfast when I go in. I get the Mama's pancake breakfast I believe. I love that the pancakes are crunchy around the edges which I learned that they were hoe cakes and not buttermilk pancakes, which means they are made with cornmeal. Interesting. Are overall experience was great. We had good service, good food, and great atmosphere.

I like the country store feel of Cracker Barrel restaurants. We have eaten at quite a few of them on our month long journey driving from Pennsylvania to Texas and back again. It has given us a chance to compare the different locations. It has also given us a chance to pick up on some patterns.
It feels like Cracker Barrel is in a major cost-cutting mode. The coffee was always good at Cracker Barrel. However, it really seems like they are watering it down to make a pound of coffee grounds go further. Our experience at this location (we gave up on expecting good coffees we tried apple juice. Again, their juices used to be really good. Now? Not so much. Again, it seemed like the apple juice is watered down. The grits seem much more thin (watered down?) I don't know, just not the same as they used to be.
Maybe Cracker Barrel is having an identity crisis. Are you a home cooked meal restaurant with lots of comfort food or are you a country store?
I would prefer to get rid of the overhead of all of the antiques and store front and go back to making hot fresh meals with pride.
Or, if the store front is where you are making your money, then have a small menue of quality food or even no food. Just be a real cool country store.
Our waitress was really good but she can't make up for poor quality food

Took over 30 minutes to get my food and it was horrible. Asked for well done eggs and they were runny, grits were hard lumps of nasty, ham was so dry I could not cut it. Pancakes were just terrible. Thirteen dollars for food I could not eat. Won't be back

The breakfast was very bad grits cold , bacon half cooked eggs over cooked with a few pieces of cheese it them the other plate was the eggs was not cooked good and the meat was cold and dry worse meal me and my sister ever had at a Cracker Barrel

More like the Cracker Barrel experience we were used to in the past. Food was good; they had just rushed the cooking of some dishes due to being so busy. Still miss the sweet potatoes, and they could try different herbs/seasonings next time they offer herb chicken.

Authentic hospitality. Food was cooked to perfection and the flavor was out of this world delicious! To the cooks, I salute you! Unfortunately, they were all sold out of hush puppies, which was rather disappointing; in the grand scheme of all things food, wasn’t really a big deal, but it’s the only fried food I allow into my diet. However, Mia and Desiree went above and beyond to make sure that my dining experience met the CB standard for good home hospitality and made sure that I not only felt comfortable and satisfied, but also invited and welcomed back.
