The waiter we had was awful gave my food to the table behind me after it was there for awhile she finally came by and told her that they didn't have that. She took it off the table and tried to give it to me as if nothing was wrong. After it was at another person table for about 10 minutes

I got 3 & 1/2 pounds of crawfish that was absolutely HORRIBLE. Tasted like chemical and tuff they told me they would make me fresh then turned around called me and said they wouldn’t give me fresh crawfish the lady on the phone the second time was RUDE! bc I couldn’t understand what she was saying would NOT recommend this place at all ever to anybody.

To ensure a secure transaction process for all patrons, it is recommended to use cash payments rather than card transactions at this establishment. My recent dining experience, shared with two companions, revealed a discrepancy in billing. Despite it being my first visit, prompted by a gathering with friends, a review of my bank statement around 10 PM indicated an overcharge. Immediate contact with the restaurant led to a manager's promise to refund the excess amount to my card, addressing the unauthorized tip added by the waitress.
However, after several days without receiving the promised refund, a follow-up call was made. A second manager suggested an in-person resolution. Given my location outside West Monroe, where I was only visiting for a baby shower, this option was not feasible. I offered to provide additional card information for a remote refund. The lack of resolution and the dismissive attitude encountered have led to considerable dissatisfaction.
To prevent similar issues for other customers, it is advised that the restaurant management either closely monitor card transactions conducted by their staff or consider operating as a cash-only establishment. This recommendation is made in light of the billing irregularities I experienced. While I do not intend to return, partly due to concerns about food quality, my primary aim is to highlight the need for improved financial oversight to protect future diners from potential fraud.
This prompted me to investigate further, and I found a Facebook review from two years ago detailing a similar issue. It’s deeply concerning that such practices seem to be ongoing and known.
The fact that these billing discrepancies continue to occur suggests a systemic problem that management has failed to address adequately. The service, as noted by another reviewer, is indeed mediocre, but the real issue here is the potential for financial scams.
Given these experiences, I strongly advise future diners to pay in cash to avoid any fraudulent charges. It’s disheartening to see a restaurant with apparent knowledge of these issues not taking sufficient action to protect its customers. This isn't just about poor service; it’s about financial integrity and trust.
