Sorry to leave this review but I tried to call multiple times after order was open was I got home but no one would answer. Our food was supposed to be ready by 6:00-6:05pm but mistakenly given to someone else and they had to remake order. There was a little back and forth about it from employee to manager. Order finally was done at 6:28pm but because it was rushed the sausage was forgotten on the order. Also, overall taste lacked as well. I hate it because it’s usually good. If I were in town I would have taken it back but being almost 30 minutes out that wasn’t an option.

The seafood was over cooked. My original order was the Blue Crab, they were frozen, not fresh and alive when cooked, nasty and way overcooked. Sent the order back order the King Crab legs and these were over cooked. The sausage shrimp and potatoes were ok. I do not recommend this place unless they find a cook that allows how to not over cook seafood.

This restaurant used to be the butt of our jokes. But after going in we realized that they have good quality seafood. We didn't realize this until we went to one of our higher-end chain restaurants and ordered Lobster and it came out smelling like fish and it was cooked too long which made it rubbery. This is my 16-year-old daughter returning Lobster to the kitchen at this high in restaurant. I don't eat lobster so I wouldn't know so I told the waiter he'd have to take it up with her. The next time we returned to the Laughing Crab, she said see Mama this is good quality seafood. This place is great because you can choose your spice whether it's mild or hot then you choose your flavor. My daughter always chooses Cajun mild. I've tried the garlic butter before and it's good. I don't remember the other flavors. Now let's talk about the fried food baskets they have. Everything is fried in the same batter so if you get a filet and Shrimp Basket just know that it's all going to be in the same breading. So not much difference in taste. This is the only thing that I wish they would change because the batter is actually pretty thick. I wish they would just fry things lightly floured. Our overall experience is always great but it can be pretty pricey if you dont take advantage of their specials.

When ordering i told waitress (kevia) I couldnt have hot seasoning anything but hot
It comes out plain she said you didn't want any and now you do so I asked for some salt .we had 2 other guest with us and asked for drink refills and didnt get .I walked up front to pay and went back to the table to wait on others and she said yall can go .had the table across from us laughing at us. She was all around rude .the other guest asked for to go drink and she wouldn't get that .I dont have a clue why she was rude .we weren't being a problem .I just know after all that and the amount it was to get bad service all 4 of us said we wouldn't be back

Work Team celebrated a birthday of co-worker and the last week of another co-worker. We had a lively time. The staff were attentive. The food was delicious. I definitely recommend that you visit!

Our waitress, I can’t remember her name however she didn’t check on us not even once, even after calling for her, she didn’t even turn around, although it was very clear she heard us, we had to ask another staff member. When the waitress came back with potatos (that we had to ask a busser for, and were cold and seasonless) she was giving us attitude for absolutely no reason. The food itself was really good, however with the waitress incident and the very noisy and chaotic energy I was not able to enjoy the food. I ended up not finishing, not because of the taste but because of the vibes, I would recommend getting it to go.
