About Trapp's

Trapp's restaurant is a rustic Louisiana spot situated by the river, offering delicious food and friendly service. The standout dishes include the fried crawfish sandwich, crispy shrimp poboy, tender and flavorful catfish, and decadent bread pudding. The boudin also leaves a memorable impression. Guests often enjoy outdoor seating to view the river and watch the wildlife while dining, which adds to the pleasant atmosphere. The service is excellent, and the food is generally wonderful, with dishes like fried catfish, crawdad tails, and bread pudding receiving high praise. While some dishes like gumbo may be served lukewarm at times, overall, Trapp's remains a favorite for its great food and relaxing ambiance. Particularly recommended is their St Martinville Boudin.

I had my pilot husband, who made a trip to Monroe, order all the good Cajun staples and fly it home to Wisconsin for dinner last night. Everything was amazing! I knew exactly where to send him when he said he was going to Monroe.

This place has a beautiful outside view. Seafood nachos and stuffed chicken was amazing!!!

We heard about Trapp's thru a facebook review, and decided to make the hour and a half drive to check it out..this place is so worth the drive. Very good atmosphere and especially our waitress Addey, so when you go ask for her...she's awesome!! We ordered the seafood nacho spuds and OMG, it was off the chain delicious. We will definitely be back..I give this a 10÷. The prices were worth the drive also..Loved it!!!!!
