I was really excited about trying a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. In my opinion, it just wasn’t my cup of tea. I first ordered a Stella and a London Fog. Of course those were excellent. I ordered a shrimp cocktail, I was disappointed mainly because I was looking for the usual cocktail, not 4 medium shrimp and a squirt of their cocktail sauce. The sauce was good, min spicy but was great. Shrimp were over cooked. For $26 I was expecting different. Of course the bread and butter was wonderful. I ordered a wedge salad, baked potato and the 16oz Kansas strip medium. The salad was a disaster. It was just a lettuce mix and 2 very small pieces of a cucumber innards and it did have a good amount of blue cheese. I always thought wedge meant a wedge of salad. The baked potato was the cheapest thing and was good with the bacon and cheese. Wasn’t as fond of the “cherry” burnt wood flavor on it. The steak was a little over cooked, but that’s ok. It just didn’t taste what I know steak to taste like.. I’m used to Texas beef. I’m thinking my taste buds just aren’t for the fancier foods. The service from Everett and Naomi was wonderful. They worked the bar area great. I probably won’t try it again, but at least I can say I did try and it wasn’t for me. I do recommend still going to this place, I’m sure it is 100 percent for some people.

The ambience was great. The server Charles was even better. American Wagyu 8 oz was terrific. Risotto was salty, shrimp cocktail was bland. Old fashioned- London fog was mediocre at best. Toffee cake was also good. If I was blinded.. would expect better from Gordon!

Kinda disappointed. Spent $250 and the food was just okay. Beef Wellington was very bland and there was shell pieces all in my oysters and I mean a lot of them. The risotto was amazing. Service couldn't be beat although many people weren't following dress code and had shorts or tank tops. Probably won't go back.

Disappointed with the food quality. We ordered lobster bisque and it was ok. I would give it a 3.5/5. Steak was cooked great, medium rear pink from inside but the meat was too gamey and the meat quality of a $60 8oz steak wasn't good, steak sauce was horrible as well. I ordered a side of French fries and got a giant plate of fries which was looking weird sitting in a fancy dinning area. Felt like people were starring. My wife ordered Cod which is already a fatty fish but it was deep fried and again the sauce was horrible. After paying almost $250, I had to stop at a gas station to get a Coke Zero to fix my taste buds. This restaurant really need to pick up their game when it comes to food quality and taste.
Service was 5 star. Over waiter was very nice and humble and served everything with manners and respect.

Wow Wow Wow. This place did not disappoint at all! Every bite was worth it and our server was very knowledgeable and gave fantastic descriptions and recommendations. Her name is Kadijah. Atmosphere was luxe with a mid century/dark wood vibe. Photos of food included. In photos are the lobster risotto, lobster bisque, shrimp cocktail, lamb chops and filet. We also had cake and ice cream desert but forgot to shoot a pic.

5 star all the way around. Drove about 2 hours to try Gordon Ramsay Steak and it completely lived up to the hype. Jeremy was and outstanding guide through the menu and his service was impeccable. The food was everything I expected and then some. Will definitely be back.

I can keep this pretty short, honestly this was the greatest meal of my life. Every single bit of it was just great. Waiter was Desmond, who was great. Cocktails were great. The bourbon bacon appetizer was absolutely truly delicious. I've had all manners of pork belly and this is the best I've ever had. Truly the best filet of my life, great sauce, fantastic sides, the date cake was probably the best desert ever. Just a really great experience, and truly fantastic food. We spent the rest of the evening commenting how this is the best food we've ever had. Honestly, I've been to GR's Steak in Vegas and this one in LC was wayy better.

The food was incredible! Crab cake was delicious, steaks were cooked to perfection! Definitely recommend the chimichurri with a steak, the beef Wellington of course was amazing! Truffle fries and Mac and cheese were so flavourful, the lobster risotto left a bit to be desired but everything else was great! The service was incredible, our servers Chris and Peyton were very personable and professional, always made sure our drinks were filled and made sure our food was good. They even took time to joke with us and have a real connection, they made the experience very memorable, and the atmosphere was very welcoming, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. A wonderful experience I’ll never forget.

All and all it was good but if we are spending $300 for 2 people I want to be blown away and I was not. My husband ordered wagyu which cost $95, it was tough. The meat should be butter soft and was not. The Brussel sprouts were not cooked and had to send them back. The manger did come over to us and offered us dessert which was nice but our anniversary dinner was a little disappointing.
first time I went my pork chop melted in my mouth so tender. This time dry and practically had to saw it to get a piece. waiter said knives were dull. Wasn't that busy and took over an hr to get food.
I enjoyed the entire Gordon Ramsey Steakhouse experience, from the amazing Italian Moscato, the Japanese Wagu Steak, the Loaded Baked Potato, and Crispy Brussel Sprouts were to die for! These items were a cut above anything that I've tasted! I love Gordon Ramsey as a kick as a chef and an amazing businessman, I respect him and admire his work. I have a catering company, and we do Gourmet Bread Puddings, so I follow him, and I truly appreciate his love for the trade.
We got married a year ago and went to every Gordon Ramsey restaurant in Las Vegas. So I thought I would surprise my wife by taking her to the one in LA. It was our one year anniversary and we sat down and the night did not start out good. The first server they gave us came and talked to us went to go get our water and never came back. 20 mins later I went and talked to the hostess and she immediately got us a new server. Tyler took care of us and it turned out to be a fantastic night. Food was out of the world and service was amazing after the first hiccup. If you are in lake Charles defiantly need to check it out!
