“I had the mild blazin #1 and it was awesome, the hotter you go for sure will clean your sinuses, chicken is crispy and juicy, fries have that crunch to it to but not overcooked, sauce is good too. My wife had the #2 country, she said it was good too.

“My sister and I were here in December for a girls weekend. We made a reservation because last time we were there they were building out the steakhouse. I was looking forward to trying the Lobster Risotto. We are avid fans of all Gordan Ramsey's shows. The service was excellent, the drinks were delicious, risotto was awesome (even though our Lobster was slightly chewy. We ordered the Porter house and split it. Melted in our mouths. So.... all this being said, we are wondering why Gordan has never visited his own restaurant?? I hope this gets to him somehow. We will definitely come back.”

“Went to Round top burger house today. Make no mistake, this place isn’t just about burgers. I had a hard time choosing between a burger, a taco salad and the seafood basket. Ended up with the seafood basket and was happy I did. It was good! Theres a lot on the menu. I’ll be making several more visits to try other items on the menu. Definitely recommend! I would have taken a picture of the basket but it didn’t last long enough.”

“We chose The Max to celebrate our son’s college graduation dinner, and I cannot imagine a more perfect place for such a special milestone. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and celebrated. The manager (Jalen) and staff (Olivia & Jaden) went above & beyond to help us set up decorations prior to the dinner, helped answered all of our questions, checked on us throughout the dinner to make sure everyone was taken care of. If you are looking for a great place to have brunch, lunch or dinner consider The Max!!! You will not be disappointed!”

“Positive-The rooms are nice clean and comfortable. We been here twice recently. We stayed in a King room and a King Balcony Room. Both rooms were very nice. Plenty of parking. Parking lot in front of hotel and a parking garage behind the hotel. Valet parking is an option if you want to pay. Couple of restaurants Brew Brothers and Gordon Ramsey Steakhouse. Didn’t eat at Gordon Ramsey’s but we ate breakfast then dinner at Brew Brothers. Descent food nothing to write home about. Brew Brothers is on the Casino Floor so no kids allowed. Better options downtown Lake Charles. Dunkin Donuts in the Casino good breakfast option reasonably priced. Casino is great for couples for a getaway. Excellent customer service from all Casino employees the times I’ve visited. Negative-This is NOT a kid friendly or family oriented hotel. NOTHING for kids to do. Pool is 21 and up ONLY!!! If you have kids a better option to stay would be L’Auberge or Golden Nugget. Brew Brothers Restaurant is on the Casino Floor NOT a family restaurant. There are 2 sets of doors in the parking garage one that says “Casino” and the other “Hotel”. Plenty of parking however, you cannot park and carry your luggage across the Casino floor. Have to use the “Hotel” entrance in the garage. It is a long walk to the to the front desk. Have to go to the second level to access hotel rooms then use the elevator there to go to the main floor to check in and access the rest of the hotel. My overall rating would be about 3 1/2 stars.”

“Great atmosphere and love the bartenders. Never any drama so it's the best place to chill and enjoy a nice cold beer with your friends. Saturdays is free pool so we definitely enjoy a night out shooting pool when we can. This place is for everyone and it's a great place to listen to music and spend time with people your bring or people you meet because they have some awesome people always sitting at the bar.”

“The waffle house on westlake louisiana has the best cook and the friendliest service. Miss D os a super hero not only getting food out as soon as possible but making it so delicious as well. You can tell she cares about her work and the people she works with. And Lauren! She is most likely the best server I've had ever! She is kind, efficient, respectful, and always makes you feel welcomed and at home with a friendly smile. She did a wonderful job making sure we had everything that my family and myself needed. You can tell she genuinely likes what she does and cares about the customers regular and new.”

On 3/29/24 at 9:44am I arrived to the drive through to pick up a mobile order located at 1603 Sampson St. Westlake, Louisiana 70669, As I waited to be serviced the young lady that came across the loudspeaker caught me by surprise (in a good way ), her voice was so clear, her tone was so comforting and her Mannerisms and words were so impressive, I HAD TO ASK HER NAME!!! This young ladys name was Jamia (I hope I spelled her name right) she was just as Pleasant in person as she was behind the speaker. This young lady is a GEM! She has the whole package when it comes to Professionalism and Customer Service. (I been doing this for 30yrs, | Know) Jamia deserves attention and recognition for what she brings to the JOB. She is a prime example of what this WORLD NEEDS !! Kindness, Compassion, Professionalism, Patience and above all, a SMILE that you can see and hear through the Speaker !! I hope that the Management and Co-works of this establishment see and understand what they have and Nurture her to become the BEST Version of herself!!! Blazin Hot Chicken has THE best honey mustard ever, I started asking for extra haha. Also, Josh, the manager, is full of positivity and is always so kind.
