Coffee Shops near Westlake

“I would like to say that today I had one of the best experiences I have EVER HAD at ANY MCDONALDS I have ever ordered from. On 3/29/24 at 9:44am I arrived to the drive through to pick up a mobile order located at 1603 Sampson St. Westlake, Louisiana 70669, As I waited to be serviced the young lady that came across the loudspeaker caught me by surprise (in a good way ), her voice was so clear, her tone was so comforting and her Mannerisms and words were so impressive, I HAD TO ASK HER NAME!!! This young ladys name was Jamia (I hope I spelled her name right) she was just as Pleasant in person as she was behind the speaker. This young lady is a GEM! She has the whole package when it comes to Professionalism and Customer Service. (I been doing this for 30yrs, | Know) Jamia deserves attention and recognition for what she brings to the JOB. She is a prime example of what this WORLD NEEDS !! Kindness, Compassion, Professionalism, Patience and above all, a SMILE that you can see and hear through the Speaker !! I hope that the Management and Co-works of this establishment see and understand what they have and Nurture her to become the BEST Version of herself!!! I know Jamia will go far in life and I hope that one day I will be able to hear, if not see her wonderful achievement that life has to offer her. Thank you Jamia for Starting my Day off on a great note !!!“

“good coffee but one employee working in morning is NOT GOOD with a morning RUSH“

“Darnisha was amazingggg … I really appreciate her patience while I navigated the menu for the first time. She provided options and also let me know informational things about the menu items to avoid dissatisfaction with my purchase. Will be visiting again soon.

Oh and change your tip policy 😂“

“The Village Coffeehouse is everything a local spot should be—warm, welcoming, and full of heart. From the fresh, hot coffee to the melt-in-your-mouth scones (seriously, get the scones), everything here is made with care. The employees are kind and always make you feel at home, and the cozy decor makes it the kind of place you want to linger. Plus, their dedication to the community is the cherry on top—they don’t just serve coffee, they serve connection. So grateful for gems like this in our town. If you haven’t visited yet, go treat yourself. You’ll leave with a happy heart and probably a crumb or two on your shirt. ☕💛 #FiveStars #CoffeeWithHeart #ShopLocal #TheVillageCoffeehouse“

“I love KD'S. Their food is amazing. It's very inexpensive and they also give you a good bit of food, which is really great. Nowadays you don't get much food for your money.“

“Absolutely the kindest staff!!“

“Philly cheesesteak was awesome!!! People were very nice!!! Def be back!!!“

“Don’t pass this opportunity to experience the chance to meet a staff of friends, artistic customer's, comfortable seating, and great coffee. On a short visit to the city of Lake Charles this coffee shop was recommended by a few locals. We decided to give it a try. Walking in you are greeted the all so pleasant smell of fresh ground coffee beans, the wonderful smiles of Chelsea and her family and some amazing art by locals artists. Go with the recommendations, you will not be disappointed. Thank you staff and friends that made the visit so enjoyable. The coffee and beignets were absolutely amazing.“

“friendly staff and great selection of teas and smoothies“

“The cutest bookstore! Has a kids play area while mamas drink coffee and looks at book! Will be back!!“

“They have a lot of coffee options that aren’t listed on the menu. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. My friend got the 911 with 6 espresso shots and I got the Kicker with just 2, and we were very happy with our selection and caffeine level. Also, definitely with the price, which was actually very affordable. Will be returning to try other flavors. Highly recommend!!!“

“Yesterday was my first ever trip to dunking donuts. It was great so I wanted to go back today and get coffee. We went though the drive thur this time. The service was very slow and they tried giving me a cold coffee when I ordered a coffee with sugar only so the little guy went and got my coffee. We leave and I open the little part so I can drink coffee and come to find out I got the wrong thing again. I only asked for sugar and they put cream in it also. I am not happy.“

“Now i’m not sure exactly how to spell her name but Jacie is the sweetest person i’ve ever met. Her customer service was beyond what I expected compared to my last visit a couple months back. If you ever see this, keep up the amazing work. Your beautiful smile and amazing personality will get you very far, I promise. Thank you for making my day!!“

“The service is always friendly and helpful when I don’t know what I want to get. Their recommendations are always spot on! I’m not a huge coffee drinker and don’t know much about coffee. I told them that and they started asking what flavors I liked and if I wanted sweet or not. Once they “21 questioned” me it resulted in the exact drink I was craving!“

“my twins love this stuff!“

“I love coming here to study! Obviously Starbucks itself is great, but the atmosphere here specifically is perfect! The employees are so friendly and kind always and it has the best vibe. The music is always on point. For sure my favorite study spot!“

“This is hands down my favorite Starbucks in the Lake Charles area! Troy is the best!! He’s very welcoming, I feel like I’m home when I visit. I’m always met with a smile by all of the staff! I remember a time when they didn’t have oat milk one day and were very apologetic about it and gave me the option of using almond instead— as a consolation, I was given a cake pop, how thoughtful! They’ve fixed several coffees that were previously bought from the Prien Lake location due to being in proximity to it at the time. I haven’t been disappointed. I do hope people who’ve had a less than satisfactory experience give them another try!“

“I wanted to take a moment to recognize the excellent service I witnessed during my recent visit. As a customer, it’s always refreshing to see employees who are friendly, professional, and genuinely care about creating a positive experience.

The staff handled a busy environment with patience and efficiency while still making customers feel welcome. Everyone was so genuine :) My order was prepared correctly, and I watched as the team members bonded and treated other customers with kindness!

Thank you guys for making my little coffee shop trip a great experience!“

“This is a new location so we are very happy that Jennings finally has a Starbucks! My daughter and I were about to travel out of town so we stopped for gas and then drinks at Starbucks. We were both very pleased with what we ordered. I am assuming because they are newly opened it's a bit harder to forecast sales and therefore hard to determine how much inventory to order or they were just way more busy than they forecasted since they were out of a few items that they were out of. They were able to make our order anyway and we got our drinks and went on our way. Service was awesome and quick!“

“We called in just before they open and they happily took our order. We pulled thru at 330am. They even hooked us up with a couple extra doughnuts of a different flavor. We got home and our youngest said she wanted the blue one. We said we didn't know what she ment. Then my wife reached in the mystery bag and pulled out an amazing blueberry doughnut 🤯“

“Dunkin offers more food than I remember 20 years ago. The chicken wrap was good for a quick bite after filling up the tank and emptying the bladder.

Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Overall a good stop whilst traveling through.“

“I go to this Starbucks just about everyday and I always have a great experience. Thomas does an outstanding job treating everyone like they are rock stars! He and his staff go out of their way to make everyone feel special. I highly recommend this Starbucks!“

“Love their breakfast burritos!!! Made to order!“

“Please if you’re in the mood for coffee or in need of a pick me up please stop by this Starbucks location. Mrs./Ms. Maura Faye will cheer you up it’s her smile guys. Did I forget to mention she’s also a fashionista!!!
